It's a quaint cafe with a nice selection of menu items and packaged foods, alcohol, and gifts. This place is seasonal, so it can get pricey and really crowded. I stop there whenever I'm on Catawba Island.

Best coffee in catawba! If I had to pick a favorite sandwich — I could eat the Rt 53 BLT every day of my life. The employees are all super kind!!

THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE I RECOMMEND FOR COFFEE IN THE CATAWBA/MARBLEHEAD AREA.
All of the rest of the places nearby can sod off. :/
Even then, the coffee here is still only middling at best, and the service is SLOW...and that's IF you can actually get them to come to the counter and take your order, because the girls there really aren't interested in doing their jobs...
All that said, all of the other places nearby are even WORSE.
It's a shame they also have really lousy hours; I'd like to be able to stop by for coffee in the late afternoon/evening during the week; during the weekend, I just wanna stay home. :/

We have been going to Rudders for years as we love supporting this lovely family owned restaurant . A quaint restaurant that offers great soups, sandwiches and salads. All prepared with fresh and quality ingredients . I love the Cali wrap ! If u are in the port Clinton area u have to stop.

This place had tasty food and a surprising number of vegan options (especially given the location). There was a long line, but it went fast. Plenty of seating inside. I had the chickpea salad sandwich with a cup of cauliflower and roasted peppers soup and found it flavorful and satisfying!
What a fun little shop with dining inside and out-a wonderful place to stop. Lots of parking.
