My family and I come out on the occasional Saturday, usually sundays for rides on our Harleys. We patronize most bar and grills along the way. Never have we been in fights, arguments, or any type of disturbances, but yesterday I encountered 6 police officers and two undercover lady cops leading me out of this place due to a customer saying I was armed and dangerous. I only gave 5 stars because they won’t advertise the 1 && 2 stars .Great bar and employees I give the staff a 10 but i am only giving the bar a 2 because the crowd that attends there. We came in with about 12 people and a patron called the cops and racially profiled us because we came on motorcycles and were brown skin . Which is crazy because we spent ALOT of money in there and we caused NO problems and stuck to ourselves && we did not cause a commotion when we pulled up...read full review

Based on the reviews, Catawba Inn has comfy atmosphere, clean restrooms, and good food. The food quality is great, with excellent steak tacos, perch taco, and awesome drinks, especially their Long Island Ice Tea's. The pizza is loved, though only one size. The staff is excellent, thorough, and respectful, and there is fun live entertainment. It is a cool little dive bar that is usually packed, with seating inside or outside. Parking can be an issue.
