“83 sweets has been perfect since day one. I remember when they first open up my grandmother was so excited to try them and the excitement was well deserved. Their cupcakes and brownies are incredible. Every time I'm down home I try to pick up some for my grandparents and myself. I've never had a bad experience with them. The cupcakes are so sweet and absolutely beautiful to look at. My personal favorites are the red velvet, carrot cake, buckeye and brownie turtle.“
“10/28/23: I traveled 277 miles from western Pennsylvania for these delicious bakery items! Pan of brownies with walnuts, maple iced cinnamon rolls, and a pumpkin pastry! I love traveling to Portsmouth down 23 in the fall to see the colorful foliage!“
“This is a huge Kroger! The employees are always working very diligently and always very nice and helpful. However, I think possibly because we MAY have a FEW less than savory customers in our area, the store itself always looks “rode hard and put away wet,” with dingy floors and random stinky odors. The restrooms are really run down, often dirty and stink like an old barn. Shopping carts are often strewn all over the parking lot. Anytime the store gets busy, you better find your own cart somewhere out in the lot. The inside of the front entry is often cruddy looking too. Maybe if it were filled up with carts, we wouldn’t see that as easily. Anyway, this is a mostly good store with good people working inside. I just think the hotsie totsies higher up in the company need to pay better attention. Don’t blame the people that are there. Let go of a few dollars and hire some more help to keep things tidy. I mean, Kroger prices are high enough, I think we should be able to expect a clean store. A manager recently gave me the sob story of “we can’t find people to work.” I’ll just never completely believe that.“
“The best in every way. Wonderful baked goods and the most kind people. I couldn’t ask for anything more. It is worth traveling from Nashville to Ohio. If you haven’t been there, you are missing out! At any time I'm in the area, I stop to buy from them.Parking: There aren't a lot of parking places. However, I've never had a problem getting in and out of there.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking in the front of the building is the best for wheelchair accessible.“
