“I am not a fan of self-checkout. Bridge St. only has self checkout. I had to call Abdi, the Attendant because the register would not accept my Listerine. Then I had to call him a 2nd time because the register charged me double for 2 bruised grapefruit from the clearance rack. He did not know the price and I didn't want to wait for confirmation. I suggested we forget the grapefruit. I said prices are high; you don't have an express line and twice I had to call you. He said, "Can I put the grapefruit in your bag?" He didn't charge me. THAT's outstanding Customer Service and the reason why I pop in--even when I abhor the self-checkout.“

“An authentic Philly place. The owner and staff remind us just of home as philly-area natives, quick to the point but friendly and the food is impeccable. The fries are delicious but the star of the show is the cheesesteaks (with whiz!). We tried Warios which was great don’t get us wrong, but really nothing compares to Hoagie City. We’ll be repeat customers for years to come and my in-laws from Philly will request it by name when they visit.“

“My partner and I LOVE this place! He usually gets general tsos, and I usually get a club sandwich, but their menu is huge and diverse. I love that I can get a deli sandwich and a side of crab rangoon. And the food is GOOD. Seriously SO GOOD. Lettuce and tomato on my sandwich is always fresh, the bacon is sooo good, and they have tons of bagel options! Their pricing is also incredible, and service is fast and always accurate! Honestly kind of tearing up writing this review, I hope this place stays here forever and never changes. It's a very nostalgic feeling spot in the most comforting way.“

“I work in Dublin and I've been looking for a place to get an egg salad sandwich for a long time you can ask my coworkers. So started looking up delis and their menus and I found this place I would say not too far from where I work. I checked their menu in lo and behold they had egg salad with bacon. I never knew I needed an excellent but bacon until I had this sandwich. When they handed me the bag with my egg salad and chicken salad sandwiches it had some weight to it. Although I couldn't eat it right away when I got to work because of a few ongoing issues I did eat it after work and although delayed The Taste was divine. I don't think I can eat another egg salad from anywhere else now“

“With this being one of their busiest times of the year,,there was a line out the door, however I was in & out within 15-20 mins & the service was top notch! I even waited a extra few minutes to get a delicious lunch to go!! Way to go #HBH - G“

“Food is great! The cream cheeses are delicious and so flavorful, and the bagels are always fresh. There is often times a line so prepare to wait since they make everything at the line. There is plenty of seating inside and even some outside options. When we went in today, there was no line. 2 of us went in and the worker took one of our orders and proceeded to make that entire sandwich, then asked me for the next order, all while there were 3 employees just staring at us, not doing anything.“
