“My girlfriend and me were in the area shopping and caught a whiff of something that smelled amazing…so we popped into Mediterranean Food Imports and Bakery for a peek. We went up and down each isle and picked out a few items. When checking out, we met the owner and struck up a conversation. He told about their food in the back and offered us some samples of their baba ghanoush, hummus and falafel. Amazing! We’ll definitely be back for some lunch and/or dinner after the holidays.“

“We are visiting from Orlando Florida and a friend recommended Lavash, excellent recommendation! Best shawarma wraps! The lentil soup is even better than mine and I make a pretty mean lentil soup. The lentil soup was seasoned to PERFECTION! Today, I had the jumbo shrimp with lentil soup and my husband had the beef shawarma sandwich. Yesterday we both had chicken shawarma and fries and the seasoning they use on the fries … delicious! Everything was a 10, from cleanliness to hospitality. The owner goes around the table and actually has conversations with the customers. All and all a well establishment . Last but not least, we purchased fresh bread and cheese Manaish. Must try!“

“The food here is fantastic! It's homemade and served quickly. We've tried appetizers, entrees, and desserts, and everything is delicious. While my favorite is the grape leaves, you can't go wrong with a gyro or a piece of baklava. This family-owned restaurant is definitely a favorite spot!“

I was disappointed to find a few tiny hairs in my hummus - kind of grossed me out but at the same time I realize this has to happen fairly frequently in the prepared food industry. “The simplest way I can explain Agape for people is Mediterranean Chipotle.That being said, Agape is streets ahead of Chipotle in quality and consistency (and in general, I freaking love Agape).It's hard to pick my favorite but you CANNOT go wrong with the Shawarma gyro, and some loaded Greek fries. “This was the first time we came here. The food and drinks were very good. The side salad was very small. My only comment on the meal would be on the seafood and pasta. There wasn't a lot of seafood in the pasta and what was in there was small. Aside from that, everything was very good.“

The masouka (kind of like an eggplant and lamb lasagna almost), and this lamb cabbage roll dish with sour yogurt (Lahana Sarma) are my favorites. Hummus is perfectly creamy, grape leaves are delightful and the baba ganoush is really nice. They also bring this hot fresh made bread with a sundried tomato dipping sauce complementary and I like dipping the bread in hummus and then spooning just a little of the dipping sauce on that. They also have craft cocktails which are pretty good.It will cost you a bit to eat here (20-25 a plate) but with the portion sizes, super yummy food, and located BY THE RIVER it is well worth it. Also don't forget the Turkish Coffee. “Friends from out of town had eaten at Anna's before. They wanted authentic Greek food and we met them there. It was a great night with great food, superior service and a nice place to meet up with old friends. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered.“
