Slick Whiskers in Powell is a popular spot for a night out, particularly on Wednesdays with open stage events hosted by Brian Yinger. The atmosphere is lively and supportive, with musicians leaving their egos at the door for epic improvisational jam sessions. The bar is comfortable and staff are friendly, although be aware that pool table usage may require coins. While there is no food served, the bar offers great pours at fair prices. The location is convenient and both entrances are wheelchair accessible. However, it is recommended to keep a close eye on your tab to avoid unexpected charges. Overall, Slick Whiskers is a recommended destination for live music and a night out.
