“On November 12th my daughters threw a surprise party for my 70th birthday at Vittoria. Being in the Columbus area for only 3 1/2 years, I had not heard of Vittoria. If I had, I would have gone there frequently!! The private room we were in was gorgeous, as well as the little bit I saw in the main dining area. Food was absolutely delicious!! I love a good spaghetti, but theirs was sensational. There were 4 little kids there ...comments from two of them..3 year old girl: "that's the biggest meatball I've ever seen" 10 year old boy: "best chicken fingers I've ever had!" I've never had such great service anywhere I've gone. He was friendly, courteous, on top of everything. We had 22 people there, and I don't think it fazed him a bit. I just loved him!! I just loved this place and my hub and I will be back soon!! ❤️ ❤️“

“I would like to see the bartenders to be able to control or at least have some type of control over patrons that come in they’re arguing and making threats to the person they’re arguing with. Last night there was two people in there and they were in the middle isles when you come closer to the front door. One of the two people that were arguing was making threats to the other person, saying that he will kill him. He will shoot him. The bartender does nothing at all nothing. The bartender called out the wrong person loudly thought that called the police. Police came in and everybody got quiet. Safety should be number one at all times if somebody’s gonna argue, making threats and threatens to shoot the person that they are arguing with in the bar be put out and or the police called . The bartender has a responsibility to the bar and protect the patrons. This did not happen, there should be some type of protocol in place that all the bartenders need to adhere to when something of this nature happens. There was also two killings last year at two close bars we don’t need to have it at The Rock!!!!“

“Food is from the pizza place next door and is OK, but subs were tiny and expensive. Go to India Oak for great subs and get double meat, take half home. The Oak has good bands every weekend night. Bands outside at Gabby's and in August, Iron Cross is having a 40th reunion gig on Gabby's patio. THE BROTHERS GRIMM will open and graying Northland High School alums will ROCK! I can't find the date on the Iron Cross website! Stupid hippies. And Gabby's website doesnt list entertainment or dates? Come on people! Get it together!? The characters who are regulars ARE entertaining though! Watch your car and park by the patio entrance...... cars have been stolen in front of Gabby's and the old Northland hood is sketchy!“

I can take clients/colleagues to lunch downtown on a workday without fussing over the check or for a nightcap after a dinner at Bridge Park. Oh, and tgey just added some bites at Dub location. “This bar epitomizes the home town old school vibe(this bar has been in business since the 1930's)! Punky and Aggie behind the bar are pure awesomeness! “It was a super long day in and out of airports. I flew in for a one day business trip to Columbus and was supposed to be in town by 5pm. I missed my first flight due to traffic in Houston, so I had to choose another one two hours later with a one hour layover in Chicago. I was hoping to catch the Yankees/Indians game 4 playoff game but it was over by the time I landed. I got to my hotel in Hilliard and looked for a place to have a few drinks to unwind. It was 10pm here but to me it was really only 9pm. The first three places I tried in the same viscosity: 1) Closed 2) Under construction, maybe? But definitely closed 3) Not closed but told me they weren’t accepting new customers because they were trying to close. What???? I decided to try one more place, and saw this place called Run of the Mill 0.7 miles away from my hotel on Google. I got there and saw signs of human life! I walked in and Eric greeted my right away, and was super friendly, and reminded me of that Texas kindness I was used to. A few regulars were very cool, and welcoming and we talked MLB, NCAA, and NFL. This place turned a super frustrating day into a fun night and positive first Ohio experience. Would highly recommend if you’re staying at one of the many hotels around here. Or if you’re a resident nearby and have never been here, give it a shot. Last but not least (to Eric): Go Big Red“

When you come inside, it's cozy, and it doesn't feel like a bar. It's been here for years but is up to date. Comfortable seating areas by fire, seating at bar, and pool tables, a smoking area outside, and the bathrooms are very clean.“
