“We came here to watch the live band, and we absolutely loved Boaterhead.We did not make reservations, should have though. The owner was so freaking amazing!He guided us to the area with the pool tables and made sure our group had barstools and were comfortable. We also talked a bit and come to find out one of our friends is a regular at another bar he owns. Great conversation. He was truly enjoying his job and taking care of customers.We enjoyed playing pool.We totally enjoyed the loaded tator tots!The bartenders were great. Attentive. Quick.We don't come here too often. We live in Hilliard, and it's quite the drive. But we always have a great time when we do. Highly recommend!!“

“I've been coming here for my book club this year and I have really enjoyed it! Lots of drink options and the prices are very reasonable, and the bar tender is always friendly. I have even come here a few times outside of book club and it's just a nice place to unwind and have a beer and the bar tender is always helpful in giving recommendations if I'm trying to decide between drinks. Added bonuses lots of parking, clean bathroom and indoor and outdoor space, and sometimes they have really cool food trucks.“

“We went in with a large party today for lunch after a sporting event. We have been to other places where they were confused, overwhelmed , and mixed everything up when our large group eats there. This place was organized, handled our large party like a table of four and the food was amazing. It came out pretty quick for as many people we had in our party and we were well taken care of. “Great prices, good food, a truly local establishment that has a bit of a dive bar feel. Their service is fine but like most popular places that don't make a point of overstaffing, sometimes the staff gets pretty busy and it can take a while to be attended to.

I prefer one-of-a-kind, non-corporate, local businesses and they are one of the only bars/restaurants like that left in the area.

They also have an old-school juke box with good music that requires cash (and not an app) and doesn't let people skip songs by paying more or any of that weird stuff.“

“We stopped in for salads and hand battered mushrooms and onion rings. Service was good after we were seated. My Wife thought it was a bit noisy but I am half deaf so it was hard for me to say.

Vegetarian options: The salads and fried veggies are the main vegetarian foods. You can get a grilled cheese though for me their pub salad and hand battered fried mushrooms are enough even when very hungry. They are good about making salads to order so you need to specify no bacon bits or added meats.“

“We couldn't decide on a place for dinner as we were in the mood for anything. After a couple other failed places we decided to come here. Definitely was the right choice! We got the buffalo chicken wrap and the cowboy burger. Both were cooked to PERFECTION ! Everything hit the spot. Just a little more on the pricey side than what we remember. But we do like this place ! Haven't had a bad thing from her yet. Staff is very friendly and welcoming.

Kid-friendliness: Have a kids menu with good typical children's fans. Also get a pack of 5 crayons opposed to the normal 2 everywhere else.“

“We did a to-go order. I got chimichurri flat iron steak with grilled zucchini as the side, plus we got some fried pickles. The fried pickles and ranch were spectacular. I can see myself going back just for the pickles. The steak, however, was a bit disappointing as I asked for medium and got what looked more like medium rare. The garlic bread and zucchini were good though.“

Extremely tasty with the right balance of crumbles and b’fflo sauce. Great w/seasoned fries or house chips. Make sure to have a pint of the Kroenburg 1664 pints to wash it down. Oh and BTW, it’s a great deal. Won’t disappoint your palllet or your wallet! Enjoy.“

“We are from Texas and had to visit Columbus for my husbands job. We came here for dinner this past Thursday evening and the service was amazing. I had a very cranky baby and several of the waitstaff offered to get her a variety of different things to make her happy. I really appreciated that. I ordered the fried pickles and the fish and shrimp. The pickles were SPEARS which made me very happy as I love me some fried pickles but I can’t get spears anywhere around here. The fish and shrimp were hot and fresh and so crispy. Beer was ice cold and I left fat and happy! Thanks again for being so kind and understanding with my baby girl!“

“My husband and I received fantastic food and service on 4/27. It's the little things, such as bringing addional sweet n low packets to the table without prompting, and making sure we had a second beverage before we finished the first glass, that separate decent servers from the excellent ones. Abby is definitely in the excellent category! Our burgers were prepared as requested and tasted delicious! We don't live nearby, however, we'll definitely make a point to visit again when we are in the area.“

“Ordered carry out on a crappy and super snowy Friday. Pizza was VERY good. Sauce is just right, pepperoni was spicy and delicious, and the crust was flaky, crispy, and cooked to perfection. Italian sub that I ordered was equally excellent! That bread is so good! Finally, I ordered an open face pizza sub. This was the absolute best that I’ve had! Again, bread is awesome, red sauce is fire, and that spicy old world pepperoni was just like it should be! VERY, VERY good! Six out of five stars!!!“

The drinks are great and the bartenders are very accommodating with drink requests. However I’m writing because we had such great service Friday July 19th with Keegan. He was attentive, responsive, cleared our table when necessary and our drinks were always filled. “Stopped in for lunch today. First time here and didn't know whether to seat ourselves or wait (no signage). There was a young girl tending bar and she didn't say anything to us while we just stood there waiting (she only had one customer). Finally I walked over to the bar and asked her if we should seat ourselves, and she just "nodded yes". She did come over and take her order and she was friendly enough. Got a barbecue wrap which was very big, but very dry. Tasted like canned chicken. I only had a little bit of barbecue sauce on one side of the wrap. Had the chicken been tossed in it, it probably would have been better. Tater tots are very good. My husband got the pub and fries and said they both were good, although the pub sub had very little meat on it.“

“Great place to bring your friends and to meet new ones. Bar is huge and can get really packed on those weekend nights. Down side to that it can be a little over whelming to the bartenders. Bar prices and happy hour are friendly to your pocket as well. Talk about a bar based around friendships ?With a pool table, basketball game and foosball to get your competitive side roaring while you watch the Buckeyes.“
