“When you walk into a diner and it looks like a large living room with tables, you know you've found a good place.Carlyle's is such a place. There was a small wait as it was a Friday, and it was obvious that it was a popular local place. But I was sat quickly, and had already known what I wanted beforehand so ordered the Reuben. It came out quickly, and came with a side of fries.The fries were just about perfect; crispy but not hard, and seasoned but not overly salty. The Reuben was amazing. Everything about it was great, and the dressing was on the side so I could add as much as I wanted.I also got the Kentucky Derby pie, which the waitress described as "Chocolate pecan with chocolate chips" and I was instantly sold. Quite honestly probably one of the best pies I have ever had. I will definitely be returning.”

Very friendly and helpful when trying to figure out what you want to eat with so many options. Whenever we go there is always a line. Which means the foods good and it's never been a long wait. My husband loves the shredded chicken sandwich. I tried the hot dog with chili and to me it tasted like sloppy joes on top. No problem just not what I was expecting. Besides I was already full from eating my chocolate dipped vanilla cone anyways. The atmosphere makes me feel like we almost step back in time to when our grandparents were young. If you're from outta town and want something different check them out. You won't be disappointed.”

From the customer service too the food I truly can't say enough about this place Also I'll mention we are from Columbus it was just over an hr drive. It was beyond worth the drive. This trip will happen at the least once a month. Berwick please keep doing what your doing. I will add the Nashville hot with a stuffed crust is out of this world.
