“We always have a great time at Teschner's! The atmosphere is fun and the food is beyond outstanding! My wife and I travel from California to visit family in the greater Cleveland area and we always have a craving to dine at Teschner's to see what's new on the menu. I envy the locals who have this culinary gem to experience.“

“The burgers here were really good, but nothing to really write home about. This place had your typical American sports bar atmosphere. The service was pretty fantastic and couldn't really have been better on a fairly busy Wednesday night during a Guardians game. Their tater tots are really good. The kids enjoyed their burgers and mac and cheese. We ordered the Buffalo chicken dip, which was really good, but gave all of us stomach issues it seemed - so I would definitely steer clear of that. Would give them 5 stars if it weren't for that issue.“

“I was traveling through the area and am very fortunate to have found this jewel! The atmosphere was welcoming and the food was absolutely fantastic!! I started with fried pickles, which were crunchy and simply delightful. Our entrees were incredible. “AUTHENTIC/DELICIOUS!!! My husband and I have traveled in Burma/Myanmar, Thailand and many places in SE Asia - and we were very impressed with the quality of the food and the portions at Leyh Thai Restaurant. The decor is also very pleasant and would be ideal for a quiet romantic meal or larger gatherings (birthdays, etc.). We had lunch there recently for my husband's birthday and noticed there were few customers. They do a larger take-out business, but I'm writing this review in hopes that folks in the Akron/Cuyahoga Falls/Tallmage/Kent/Fairlawn area will consider enjoying a meal there in person for lunch and/or dinner. “First and second visitWent to eat with my son home from the Navy and the atmosphere was like he was still on the ship with his team, one of the family. Service was second to none! The food was so good my entire work crew ordered it the next week for lunch! I recommend the mozzarella sticks. I’m not sure how you can make those better, but they did! Also it seems any burger because I’ve had the jr burger and jack burger both great! Can’t wait to try the specialty nights they offer!“

“I often stop here while out riding with my friends for a beer and a burger. It's kind of old school with many tables which they move around to accommodate the number of people in your party. The major emphasis is the bar, and it's clean, with courteous bartenders and servers. Not really a place to visit for an upscale dinner, although I've never had a bad sandwich there. Nice place to stop in for a sandwich and a cocktail.“

“My wife and I ordered the spaghetti dinner. The sauce was water. It had no flavor other then water. The bartender acts like your invisible. When I went to pay the bill I was asked how was everything. I said awful. She just says sorry to hear that. 60 bucks waisted.“

“I've been on the patron side of bars going on 4 decades in 50 states. I have to give this bar credit where credit is due. Of all the bars in Akron, this one is the cleanest and classiest by far. Of course I could find some things that they could improve upon. No bar is perfect. But this one comes close. Cleanest restrooms, friendly staff, prices are decent. They doing it right. Upscale slightly older crowd. Highly recommend.“

“Food is scratch made. The cook is very good. Never an issue with food. Depending on which server is there service can change. Regulars get their eye first. If you're a new customer you may be waiting longer to get menu or wait longer to cash out.“

“First time at this location and it holds up to the Basement standard. The day of the visit was St. Patrick's Day and they were staffed well. The service was top notch and the Kaluger Burger on a pretzel bun was very tasty. If I am in the area I will definitely return. If you live near here, I recommend visiting.“

“I usually visit a place a few times before reviewing, which we did. I gotta say the bartender Deville is super friendly, and always makes the best drinks!! We just moved to area and tried several other places, not bad, but The Getaway is our new “corner bar” for drinks and great music. It’s a hidden gem of Akron Valley and made us feel at home. 2 pool tables, local bar atmosphere which was welcoming to us, and great drinks!!! Haven’t tried the food, but a decent sized menu, and other people rave about it! We will def be back, again and again! ?????“

“LOVE this place. we were visiting from out of town and decided to check it out. amazing hospitality! the food came out quick, hot and perfect. salad was huge. the deep fried pickles were delicious and not spicy. the wings were soooo good!!!! we loved the lady who waited on us. she was so sweet and did a fantastic job! next time we visit we will definitely be stopping to eat again. highly recommend!“

“We stopped in here on a whim, on our way to Meijer. Not too busy for a weekend, which was fine by us. They have the huge "tower" drinks and unique common "bar type" foods with a twist.
