“I would give this place 5 stars if I could! We went for my birthday dinner and it was a great experience. They have a whole vegan menu and large portion sizes! Our waitress was wonderful too. We got the French Onion soup (which I’d literally never had before bc I’ve never found a place that had a vegan one), the blackened tofu Tartine, the Brussel sprouts, the vegan steak entree and a pb, chocolate, caramel dessert! Also, we ordered a side of the wild mushrooms and they were to die for! Everything was delicious and we had leftovers to take home too. Can’t wait to come back the next time we’re in town!“

We also tried the sweet potato and they gave me a sample of the chili which were both very good. I’m super excited to try the other sides in the future. The employees all exuded a good energy and made you feel welcomed which doesn’t always happen when you are out to eat. Overall it was a 10/10 experience!!“

Parking: When you park, they use headlights on = you need something.
Headlights off = you are okay and don’t need anything.

Kid-friendliness: You stay in your car and manage your own kids. Cars are coming in and out non stop don’t let them run around.“

“Amazing find in our trip to Cleveland. My wife and I always seek out the best local, independent brewpubs on our trips, and Bookhouse is near the top of our list. The Irish Red was excellent. Atmosphere felt like I was in a common room at Hogwarts. Full of warmth, great staff, friendly people, and great vibes, the history of the building was a surprise bonus.
The fact that Bookhouse is LGBTQ friendly- and this is coming from an old cis straight guy- made it all even better. Long live love, great community, diversity, and great beer!“

“My husband used to go here in the summers as a kid and was forever in search of anything as good as their orange blossom ice cream. We finally got around to visiting this time when we were in Ohio, and the look on his face when he tried the ice cream again was pure happiness. Located inside the brewery, Terra brings in a more comfortable and cool atmosphere with a simple menu, good cocktails and great food at a reasonable price. Of course their craft beer is available as well. The Pimento cheese dip is a must try, and the chicken sandwich is done right. Dog friendly patio and also in the brewery side. “Stopped by after trying the Roaming Biscuit across the street, and got to enjoy some time eat said food and sip on some nice iced drinks on a warm Sunday morning in Ohio City.

The espresso machine (a little beauty for espresso machine afficionados?) was down for repairs, but my wife and I pivoted easily to an iced coffee for her and an iced cold brew for me. Both were flavorful and strong, and the rest of the drink options were very intriguing for a future visit if we get in the area again. The interior itself has great and comfortable vibes, and you definitely get the feeling this a little gem for the area community. And the staff was friendly and talkative, so it had basically everything you'd want in a good coffee shop.“

“Found this place when I searched for best places to eat in Cleveland while we were on vacation and this one had good reviews and realistic prices so we decided to try it out and we are so glad we did! It was a warm and inviting atmosphere for being mostly a bar with extra seating. You felt like you were at home and all the staff treated you like you were family or a good friend and they looked happy to be there even though it got a bit busy when we had gotten there. Service was excellent, food was delicious, my husband got the ribs and he was in love. I tried the bbq sauce as I'm really picky about bbq sauces and it was delicious! “I'm from Northeast Ohio and live roughly 25 miles away from WRD. Here's my confession... I'm kinda an experienced bourbon snob but have never visited WRD. I'm writing this very positive review because for awhile I've enjoyed WRD's bourbons (particularly their single barrel), as well as their tequilas. For me, WRD single barrel bourbon, sipped as neat is a pleasure; it carries a smooth / calm profile with just a touch of burn at the end. I'll stack it against any Kentucky bourbon with the same age profile. I also think that it being double distilled makes a difference in taste, and having it sourced with organic ingredients is a great plus. Can't wait to make a pilgrimage to WMD and hopefully get a chance to meet the owners.“

“A small group of us were visiting the area to see family and we came in here on a Friday evening for just drinks before having dinner elsewhere. The first person we saw greeted us with a smile, we think it was Mike. They were totally packed and it was only 5PM! But he and the bartender who took care of us let us take the last 2 seats at the bar while two of us stood nearby. They have lots of great cocktails and beer to choose from, as well as the typicals beverages. They have an amazingly appetizing menu too! Watching the food come out made us wish we were having dinner there as the food looked and smelled amazing!

Overall, the service was excellent and so were the prices. They treated us like family and were very engaging and friendly. Highly recommend stopping in here!!“

Looks so low key and not at all obnoxious from the outside - no advertisements for various alcohol, just a good old Christmas Story lamp in the window. Inside, it’s a warm and friendly neighborhood pub that made me feel welcome. Full of Irish cheer on the big day, but I’m sure there is some of that year round. Prices for a pint were fair maybe even in the lower side. Some places regulars don’t really like new people coming in or are cool or suspicious towards them. Not here at all. I barely drink anymore but if I was going to have a goto neighborhood pub this would be it.“
