“The word I have to describe this diner: WOW! My boyfriend & I decided to eat here last minute while we visited for the solar eclipse. We are so happy we did. The servers were wonderful & kind, the atmosphere was fun, the food was amazingggg. I have tried burgers from all over & I think the one I had there was my favorite I’ve had. It was seasoned and cooked to perfection with fresh toppings. It is a bit smaller inside but they fit a lot of seating in a small space. I HOGHLY recommend. You need to try it!!! ?”

“Great quality of food with a twist on the usual recipes. We tried the Caesar salad, chicken and veggie potstickers, the Asian bowl and the grilled 3 cheese with bacon, tomato and spinach served on sour dough bread. It came with fries too. Large serving sizes, made fresh to order, great taste on all items. We will be going back. Only negative is that it’s only take-out and drive-thru so you have to wait until you get home to eat and we live a good 20-25 minutes from the restaurant.”

“On a whim we decided to meet our children and grandchildren half way between us in Columbus and them in Lima. We decided on a pizza place but it was closed when we got there. So I Yelped, of course, to find another restaurant near by. LUCKY for us we found The Syndicate! The restaurant is nice, airy and comfortable and when we said we were a party of 7 the woman seating us didnt bat an eye which was a huge relief as we had 3 small hungry children. They seemed to be a bit understaffed but our server and the young man helping her were so insanely nice and patient we felt well treated. Now it's not an inexpensive place BUT there is a difference between value for money and cheaper. Value for money, to us, is an interesting menu selection that delivers and delivers with taste and freshness. We plan on going back just to work our way through the menu. I had gnocchi that was pillowy and sublime. My husband and SiL had the pork schnitzel that they raved about and my daughter had the salmon with shrimp which was so generous she took half of it home. Now two things that are super pluses THE BEST CARROT CAKE any of us have ever had including the one I make and the chocolate cake was actually my fave because it was not overly sweet and you taste the cocoa. They have a full bar with a nice wine selection. Thank you The Syndicate for dinner last night you made 7 people very, very happy.”

“I stopped here after a long morning without any expectations or knowledge of this place. So I was not prepared to be completely blown away by how amazing my vegetarian sub was! It's a warm sub with big, awesome vegetables, gooey cheese, and fantastic bread that is heated to where the cheese spills out and there's a little toasted cheese on the outside. But the best part was the sauces. I don't want to give away their sauce secret here, but I'll just say it is a winning combination and absolutely genius. This meal made me so happy.The diner is also cute and nicely decorated and maintained, and it has friendly staff. It is SO worth it to stop by here!!”

“I really enjoyed my meal. We got the salsa, guac and queso appetizer with tortilla chips. Guac and queso were AMAZING but the salsa tasted like VERY heaving tomato paste, like tomato sauce. I ordered a few tacos. Shrimp was one and delicious. Al pastor was the other, it was good but not the best so next time I'll get both shrimp. My husband said his wasn't that good. I think he may have gotten the pork or chorizo one.”

“The g/f and I stopped in after touring Indian Lake on the way back to Columbus and was greeted by a fabulous staff and owner that answered all of our questions and treated us well ~ We had a very good Italian sub and grilled cheese while listening to a fabulous live band ~ wish we lived closer but we will surely be back.”

“Certainly a gem in this region of Ohio. Anytime I visit relatives in Bellefontaine, stopping into native is a must for me. I’ve drank countless coffees (roasters and styles) from the world over, and I’ve never had a better latte than I’ve had at Native. I can’t recommend their latte with an extra shot of espresso made with oat milk even close to enough (even if you’re a dairy drinker; just try it!). The roaster that Native sources their beans from (One Line in Columbus, OH) is top-notch and the technique way they prepare their drinks is proper. I also appreciate their advocacy for kindness and diversity, as evidenced in their signage and decor. Plus, Braydon is always kind and super knowledgeable to boot.”

“I live 15 minutes away so I frequent Firehouse Pizza about once a month. The pizza is good, sauce has great flavor and has plenty of pepperoni on it. But my favorite meal item is the wings! They are bone in. The seasoning is flavorful and the wing is crisp.The atmosphere takes on the appearance of a firehouse with a area the is a fire truck booth.The chairs are hard to sit on for any length. I generally get carry out from the drive thru window”
