What an awesome place this is! We first went in July 2023 (perfectly en route from Chicago to NE Ohio) not really sure what to expect. First off, the food was incredible. We got the pho and seaweed salad. Both were phocking pho-nom-nom-nom-inal. The beer was just as good. The selection from IPAs to sours...all fantastic. The IPAs rival Treehouse, no joke.We came back end of January 2024. This time super pumped with high expectations. The website and social media said nothing about the brewery and restaurant being closed, so when we arrived and were told they were closed, we were super bummed. The owner could tell how disappointed we were and treated us to lots of beers (cans and draft...all awesome and on the house) and even ordered us some food. It was such an awesome experience and was so much fun. We stayed for multiple hours and hung out with the owner and his buddy. The only bummer was that we didn't get any of the pho or seaweed salad. I sure hope to be able to come back one day!

I come to their bar downtown, Small City, and you see a lot of the CLAG original brews available. Everything from start to finish, bottle to shelf, to the glasses they serve is actually perfectly balanced. Holds true to the breweries name. I ain't even a huge beer fan and I still like their beer's taste.

Food is always pretty decent. Tried to ask the bartender some questions about what beers were on tap and he had very little information to give. It's a nice place to sit and hangout. Just wish the bartender was more knowledgeable. Also, some of the TV's had really bad visual quality which made them mostly unwatchable.

excellent food the California roll and. The Philadelphia were excellent I would recommend to anybody sweet tea was excellent flat noodle dish amazing (non-spicy) pork and wonton soup was excellent beautiful flavor on the pork but also the wonton soup itself was amazing not too salty. Not too sweet amazing Goldilocks zone it was perfect The birthday song was amazing. The staff was excellent. We didn't get the nice kind caring (they could've refilled the water more tho) also in a great spot of Sandusky nice town, also, the Christmas decor was amazing. It was star studded. also, the seats were comfortable 10 out of 10. overall also, my friend got some orange chicken that looked to die for but overall I would recommend this restaurant highly to anybody in the Sandusky area

Beer and food were fantastic and so was the service. Well worth the trip.

We came randomly on a Sunday hoping for some food, beer and to check this place out as have read so many good things! Sadly, no food was being served but we did enjoy a delicious DIPA called Transfusion recommended by the bartender (so good that we decided to buy a 4-pack for home). There are numerous TVs along the large bar that wraps around the entire restaurant. Clag is a large space and I think they might have karaoke nights as I saw a huge setup near the restrooms. We will have to come back to try the food the next time we are in town.

Kha is a seriously talented guy and an excellent host! Was great seeing you man look forward to next time I can get out to visit. Amazing beer and that draft old fashion was one of the best I've ever had. The wings with magic sauce 10/10

Brewery and Sushi... two of my favorite things. They nailed the beer, Sugar Hazy IPA was worth the drive. The sushi and sashimi on the other hand was not good. The sashimi was not cut with a fork or melt in your mouth, the salmon sashimi tasted soapy and tough. The TNT special roll was supposed to have jalapenos, but all I tasted was some sort or crushed red pepper stuff on top which they seemed to be caked in. I'd def go back for the beer and maybe try the Pho instead.

New in town and this place was recommended as having gluten free food options. I must say our food was amazingly great! The portion size was large as well. My husband had the recommended pad Thai and after tasting it I wished I had ordered that too. Sadly, within a hour of finishing his meal he became very very ill. Lasted 24 hours with medications trying to help him. It was obvious the meal was NOT gluten free. To celiacs this is vital. Maybe the soy sauce or fish sauce they use changed up their ingredients as they often do as that is the only thing I can think of that could've contained gluten. Unless there was cross contamination which we informed our waitress of the celiac issue. Celiacs beware of eating here. You'll be missing out on great food but maybe the owners can look into why the pad Thai was full of gluten?
