I went to FD on Saturday the restaurant was slow. It was only two people, the Host that sat us at our table was great. Our waitress was horrible attitude as all get out. The food was horrible it was overcooked or reheated: baked potato was so dry I requested more butter to smooth the crunch, ribs were burnt I can still taste char in my mouth, cornbread muffin was so greasy it had my stomach bubble 🫧, the coleslaw was ok because they maybe scooped it out of a container. I only asked for 🧊 ice water ask the waitress to fill glass with ice and only fill water to 1/4 from bottom of cup..do you know she returned with a full glass of water with less ice. They didn't have any heat on so I didn't finish my food, I asked for the waitress to bring me a box to go. I gave that waitress 18% of my total bill. I usually give 20%. If you want me to return tell your staff to do better in Preparation, Attitude, & Atmosphere. Good luck!!

Food was at best OK. Not bad, but not great. My wife and I ate at the bar- I had to find my own eating utensils, (fork), the bar tender, did not offer them, and she way MIA for a long time. I had to wait for a long time for refills on my beers, i would have had 2 or 3 more beers if i could have. There were 4 cars in the parking lot when we got there, zero cars when we left, and I only seen 5 people in the establishment, she should have been a lot more responsive. We will not be back!

We bought a shareable platter, and it was very good. 3 of us ate parts of the food.

Couldn't be more disappointed - We stopped in on a Friday Night for dinner, they had no chicken, they said they forgot to order it - This is a friday, so they are not going to have any chicken all weekend - how is that possible, The place is huge, huge - NO Customers - I couldn't be more disappointed - well, I understand why they don't have any customers - don't waste your time

No personality anymore plus the staff is lazy it's a shame because I've been going to the Sandusky location back when it was Shooters, TGIF and Quaker State but NEVER AGAIN!!!! 😞

Beautiful location great food and our server Kipp was wonderful. It may not be in Cedar Point but it’s a great spot to stop for lunch or dinner.

Low Budget , main stream BBQ. I had the beef tips. They were ok.
The corn bread was excellent 👌

Our server had to be told by another that we had been waiting just to be asked what we want to drink. She was mad about that and began to argue and swear at her co workers and had an attitude when coming to the table. She continued to sweat at her co workers and threaten to beat one up and said she doesn't need this job. Terrible experience, not sure if I would return to the Sandusky Ohio location.

Randi was hands down the highlight of my visit to famous Dave’s . Not only did she crush it as a server, but she was super sexy the whole time. Honestly, I’m already thinking about going back just to try my luck at getting her number (and maybe a little more if the universe is on my side). Best chicken, best service, best reason to come back.
