This review is based on a one night stay. The hotel was fairly close to Cedar Point. Was this a five star hotel? No. Was it the cleanest? No. Was it the most modern upscale hotel? No. Was the staff ultra helpful and friendly? No. Was it 300 a night? No!!! I was looking for a decent hotel to literally crash at after 12 hours at Cedar Point. Here was my criteria... A comfortable bed. Check! A decent shower. Check! Less than 300 a night. Check!Bottom line if you don't want to spend a fortune on a place after a long day at Cedar Point and you are going to crash 20 minutes after arriving then this is a great option. The bed was comfy and the shower was hot and had lots of pressure.Just my two cents

We booked online, price over the phone was double what we found through hotwire. Beds were comfy, rooms were clean. Breakfast was lame, plan to eat out if you stay here.

This hotel is now Days Inn by Wyndham. Everything in here was new! My family slept here last nigjt and you can tell the place is remodeled. I actually believe we were the 1st ones to sleep in our room since it's been under new management. Fresh paint, new carpet, comfy bed/covers... I know when I go to Sandusky, I don't have to look for a hotel because I'm going back to Days Inn. Also, the pool was nice. My kids couldn't wait to get in. And it's peaceful. Plus, the staff was friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this place as of August 10th 2020.
This was the worse hotel I’ve ever stayed at and I’ve traveled all around the US. I had to put both beds together so me and my buddies were comfortable. A rat came out of a hole in the wall. The lady was super rude at the front desk. The $10 deposit was a first for me for any hotel. Please shut down or clean your rooms

Wish i could give this place 0 stars. paid $150 for THE WORST hotel i’ve ever been to. coffee pot was gross, towels and an orange stain on them, bathtub was a gray on the bottom, there was mold in the corners in the bathroom. The customer service we received at the front desk was just embarrassing. She was extremely rude and not helpful what so ever. Do not stay here!

Giving it one star is generous. We booked three rooms and each was disgusting in their own way. Everything was dirty. Stains all over the walls, each bed had stains on all layers of the sheets. Two of the rooms smelled like mildew, one of the bathrooms had tiles falling from the ceiling. When addressing our concerns with the front desk, we were told there was nothing they could do. The woman offered to clean the rooms as if that was an additional service we should have requested in the beginning. She said she would t offer a refund because they were all things that could be cleaned.Absolutely disgusting, I wouldn’t recommend any part of this place to anyone... ever

I was nervous about my reservation because I saw some horrible reviews from previous guests. When I arrived I was pleased to find my fears were wrong. The hotel is in a great area. Plenty of places to shop and dine. The front desk attendant was very pleasant and helpful. My room was clean. The carpet just needs a good deep cleaning. The room is a little outdated. Overall, I was happy considering it was a budget stay.

Everything was dirty. Sheets and towels were stained, make-up was streaked on walls (I hope it was make-up). Sign at road says Americas best value inn, sign tied to the window said Magnuson, ice bucket said Days Inn and towels are from Holiday inn. Ice machine was a huge chest freezer full of ice that you and everyone else in hotel are literally scooping out of. If you are desperate for a place to lay your head it will suffice. If you are looking forward to a nice, clean hotel then please keep looking.
Excellent place!
