Firelands Winery & Restaurant Wineries • $$
917 Bardshar Rd, Sandusky

“Went in on a Thursday evening after driving for 5 hours. Our host was absolutely amazing! Made recommendations for not only the restaurant but for our trip to Cedar Point! And gave us a private tour of the winery! We raved about it the entire way home and were so happy with the experience. We wish we got his name but he was amazing! 10/10 would recommend!“

The Winerie Winery • $$
6413 Hayes Ave, Sandusky

“The atmosphere is a 10. We came on a Saturday night and the live entertainment was enjoyed by everyone. While our server was friendly, service was spotty. The charcuterie board we ordered was so delayed it arrived along with our main course. We had the Malbec and it was surprisingly good. The food was also good but the portions were small. We left feeling hungry. Despite this, we’ll try it again due to the lovely atmosphere.“

Red Fern Inn at Rocky Point Winery Wineries • $$$
111 W Main St, Marblehead - 5.55 miles

“The room was exceptionally clean and tidy. Service was very positive. Every staff member we encountered was pleasant and helpful. The location may be a bit off the beaten path, but that adds to the charm and is exactly what we were looking for.Rooms: Inn is in a converted 100+ year old stone school building which makes for a unique experience. Room was clean and comfortable. We used the stairs to reach our 3rd floor room which had a view of the lake.Food & drinks: Wine bar onsite is a nice feature“
