We were in Cleveland for the night, and Balance was close to where we were staying so I decided to give it a try. The girl working at the counter was AMAZING! She was so helpful and super interactive with my son, literally mirroring his excitement. I know this is something small, but I have worked in the service industry and I know how infrequent it is to get positive feedback. I’m sorry I didn’t catch the girl’s name (she was tall with long blonde hair), but she was fantastic and really made us feel welcome. The restaurant was also super clean and all the employees were working hard.“

Also, the little boy (I'm assuming he's related to the owner/one of the employees) who was playing inside put a smile on my face when he came up and started playing with me. I can't say I've seen this anywhere else. We frequently drive into Lakewood, passing many other Chinese restaurants, to get food from here. The food is extremely consistent, the portions are large, and the prices are reasonable. I love this place.“

“On my mission to find the best Chinese place on the west side, this is the best I've had so far. The General Tso's chicken and pork fried rice was really solid and the portions were great. The Szechwan Chicken was delicious but was honestly a little light on the Chicken. Should be called szechwan veggies with chicken but it was still really good. On the other hand, I'm an experienced critic of crab rangoons, and their 'goons did leave a lot to be desired. The filling had a good taste but there was barely any in there. The shells were chewy and an uninspired shape (triangle). Take out took a while, but they gave a very accurate time estimate over the phone which I really appreciate and I enjoyed looking at the fat fishes while I waited.“

I have the receipt proving I paid for 3 meals and the store - Brandon wouldn’t make it right. He basically said “oh well”, he trusted his employees, I get that but they are human and make mistakes.
