“Went to Yum village today for Squash the Beef and while waiting I remember Yum village has the yam soup I wanted to try so I got a bowl and I try fish stew & plantain fufu.
Never had fish stew or the fish in the stew (salt fish and herring) also never have had fufu well the fufu with the stew was tasty party.
Yam soup it was unexpectedly very tasty it was sweet from the yams but hearty. Can’t wait to go back and try other dishes. Whoever read this go try it for yourself you won’t be disappointed!!“

“Wow my grandmother and I have been looking for a good place to eat for a while now. It seems likes nothing is good anymore and we were starting to lose hope but then we stumbled upon this restaurant and the food was absolutely amazing. Everything had great flavor and tasted fresh!“

“The flavor is definitely there. This was a Uber Eats order. I ordered the oxtails and the curry shrimp, The oxtails were Well seasoned. The curry shrimp was very good. I like the fact that they clean their shrimp. I also got a side of greens. They were OK. I also got the Jerk chicken pasta, which the flavor was there however it did not look like the picture on Uber Eats.

Overall, I would recommend this restaurant. The only thing I would say is they need to work on the presentation when I got the food it was in a grocery bag with the greens on top and the green juice leaked down to all the items on the bottom.

Also, the carryout containers did not hold heat so they were very hot on the bottom.

“Aight 10/10. The most flavorful curry chicken. Spice and herbs are not the same as other joints. I would say this is more authentic, but I don’t really know. It is the most flavorful tho to me and most home style of cooking I’ve come across in long while. Portions are big IMO. Cabbage is good/rustic. Chirp Chirp Lesco.“

“This food was so good and authentic. When I go to Jamaica their rice and peas, cabbage and meat are bland—- no flavor. The food from this restaurant is the flavor I’ve been seeking. Compliments to the chef!

“I definitely would and will not recommend this restaurant to anyone came from out of town and wanted my country food so we ordered two jerk chicken meal and just a side of jerk when I open my box I was somewhat upset that my jerk chicken was plastered with not jerk sauce but BBQ sauce, like what the hell !! “I love love love this place. Just make sure you get there early and not too late because they do run out of food and it won’t taste as fresh. I just wish the light skin guy had help because he moves very slow when he making your order. Other then that watch out for those pot holes In the parking lot and be prepared to be standing in line for a min but it’s worth it. I get the large jerk chicken dinner with rice and Mac. Nice full portions for the price because other places charge you more and give you less.“
