Unlike Cracker Barrel, The Root Beer Stand will sell you delicious food BUT never sell out It's customers to woke investors whose shareholders value robots more than their customers! It's a safe haven for old souls tortured in this new world! Great root beer, delicious food and nostalgic decor that takes you back in time to a day in age where life was simple and fun! It's a must visit summer restaurant!!
Bathroom was Disgusting. Love the Root Beer Stand, have gone there for years. Visited their bathroom today and I've seen better Truck Stop gas station bathrooms. For all your loyal customers spend a little money this off season and Paint the walls, paint or tile the floor, install a new blow hand dryer, new commode, new sink and mirror. And have someone go in and clean it once a day. Was filthy everywhere. Lost my appetite to eat.
It had been many years since we had been to the Root Beer Stand so it was high time to come back. It had grown a fair amount since our last visit which was great to see. The place was really busy but they really are streamlined well and there was not a long wait time. There is a bit of indoor seating but a vast majority of the seating is at picnic tables outside around the area.
