The staff was very nice and pleasant to chat with and serves with a smile. Apologized for the near empty display case. Which to me is a sign of just how good their bake goods are.. and that I need to get there earlier next time.”

“We came in at 10pm passing through after a HS XC night meet to eat. At that time there were only a few people at the bar & our party of 4 at a table. We weren't sure if we would be able to order food because it was so late. Brandon, the bartender & only person working was so gracious & said no problem he could make us food. More & more people kept coming in & pretty soon it was packed & I noticed more people ordering food too. He was amazing. We barely waited in between drinks & really didn't wait long at all for our food. I don't know how he did it, but he kept waiting on everyone along with cooking. We were so happy with our food & service. Everytime we have been here, the food & service has been great, but Brandon rocked it!! :)”

“What a neat spot. Great atmosphere and the beer and drink selection is 10/10. Bar and seating area is a little small, but sometimes really cool spots don’t need tons of seating. Food is very good and the owner is passionate about his pub.”

“Loved it all. Ate everything right away so I didn't get any pictures. Sub was delicious! Pizza was great, even my son wanted pizza after I gave him a happy meal that he wanted before seeing the pizza. They did forget my garlic butter, but I should have checked it before I walked out. They were busy (phone ringing and other consumers coming in) but still maintained a friendly environment. Will be ordering from them again.”

“I want to say what great service and food we had at the Varsity Club . June 29th was the service for my mothers funeral. Several family members went there after the service. Our server was Jessica. She was fantastic. Every meal was delicious and received quickly. 20 people and we did not have a reservation. We could not have had a better experience. I definitely recommend the Varsity Club. Jessica thank you for being such a sweet person and an exceptional server. Well done Varsity Club!”

Definitely worth the drive from Mansfield every other week or so!!”

“We’re new to the area, New Washington so we’ve only been there twice and Friday we went for our 35th anniversary/Valentine’s Day dinner. Everyone was wonderful even the young ones that were serving our meal and the food was delicious. We had the fish which was delicious and there was more than we could eat.
