The Spot Restaurant Reviews
I have eaten at The Spot many times over the years
Yesterday 10/12/25 was the worst I have ever seen. The hamburgers were not cooked fully. Raw in center. The place had food all over the tables needed cleaned. The floor needed swept! I so wish now I would have taken pictures! The lady cooking was very rude. Ot sure who is in charge now but definitely needs to step it up. The only nice employee in there was the lady running the register. Smiled and was nice and friendly.
I’ve eaten the Spot for nearly 60 years and honestly today is the most disappointing experience ever. Service was long and when asking was asked “do you want your food or not” several times in a very rude tone. Then get the food and OMG the normally delicious onion rings are SUPER GROSS! The Spot Restaurant is a beloved local institution, serving up classic American fare with a nostalgic twist. Their menu boasts juicy junior cheeseburgers, tenderloin sandwiches, and fresh fish, paired with exceptional fries and decadent chocolate malt pie. This charming diner, complete with old-school car hops, offers a kid-friendly atmosphere and easy parking, making it a must-visit destination.
Customers praise the restaurant's great selection of original burgers, sides, and pies, with one reviewer describing the onion rings as "worth the stop alone." However, some have reported mixed experiences with the customer service, with one customer describing the staff as "rude" and another noting long wait times for a pickup order, despite the restaurant not being busy.
Overall, The Spot Restaurant remains a beloved local favorite, known for its classic American fare and nostalgic atmosphere, though the quality of customer service may vary.
