A CoHatch favorite. Delicious Mexican food. I had a Fish Taco. It was excellent! Coke products to drink. A market place ambiance. Service was acceptable. I enjoy my experience at the Painted Pepper was a B+ and I will eat there again!
This is my favorite spot in Springfield! Tacos are always fresh and supremely tasty. Great ingredients cooked up by skilled chefs make for one heck of a meal. You simply can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Also the salsa is so fresh and so good you'll want to get a pint to take home (classic red or verde too)! I'm from Las Vegas and have been on the hunt for decent Hispanic food for years (Midwest, y'all need seasoning). I ordered the fish tacos and after my first bite, my jaw hit the floor. I wish I'd order more!
