Deseo is fantastic! Modern Mexican means the foods and flavors that are being served in contemporary restaurants in Mexico today. It is not the typical traditional Mexican. It's the food of today, and it is fabulous!! Everything is made fresh from scratch to order, even the margaritas! Tapas and plates for sharing, which I love because you get to enjoy a little bit of everything.
My wife and I went there for lunch, it was AMAZING. The service was great, the food is next level. We have been here for two years and there isn't a place that even compares. Every bite my taste buds was doing the happy dance. If you love flavors, this is your place.
The tacos are amazing! We had the quesabirria (our favorite), red snapper, and salmon. There are no tacos this good anywhere in metro Detroit that I've found. OMG the quesabirria broth and just everything about them. Guacamole was meh and the trio concept was weak. But absolutely the best tacos in Toledo!
