A great place!! I went there 30 years ago. It was wild. I used to go to Henry J's, and friend suggested going to Frankies. It was insane. There was always something going on wherever you were at at the place, even out back in the parking lot & they had an area outside where you could drink & relax. My Sister & friends wanted me to go see the Smashing Pumpkins... I said no...It's probably just some unknown band that was never going to make it. Boy, I was...
Crowded venue. Got hot long before the main feature which was delayed from 8 to 830 and at 9 the main feature Tony Romiti still had not started her setlist.
Came here a lot as a kid and thought it would be great to see some friends for a birthday party after 10 years but for me it wasn't such a great experience this time around.
Nonetheless the staff and location are great and deserve 5 stars. I'm just getting old lol.

As small venues go around Toledo, you got your Otawa Tavern & then you got the legendary classic Frankie's! From Ska to Metal and probably every other genre you could think of, Frankie's has got it goin' on! Merch booths with additional bathrooms connected to the other room with stage, full bar, bathrooms & entry to outside smoking area. Every show I've been to has had re-entry and that is just a bonus for Alfordstylee. Jus check their site to see upcoming...
