I had a very disappointing experience at this McDonald's today April 12, 2024 I purchased 4 apple pies that turned out to be expired.We ordered a happy meal and 4 apple pies at 3:05 pm the pies all say enjoy by 10:00 am. The crust was hard, and the filling was dehydrated had an unpleasant taste, hinting that it had gone bad. Not only was it a waste of money, but it also left me feeling queasy afterward. It's unacceptable for a renowned chain like McDonald's to serve expired food especially at this location 3005 N. Holland Sylvania RD, and it seriously undermines their reputation for quality and food safety.

I use to patronize this location often , I use to tell people that if you want your food hot ? and done correctly, to go too the McDonald's on Holland/Sylvania n Central.. but lately when I get off of work at 9:30-10pm I've gotten cold food every time , and no interaction with the the employee handing the food out .. I understand that this establishment closes at 11pm . So I try to be respectful, by being there no later then 10:15 if I can .. so that leaves at least 45 min to still make hot food and to still be kind to the very last customer.. NOW I have to go home and heat my food up and hope that it tastes good still .. we all know French fries aren't usually tasty after reheating them .. the chicken nuggets I might be able to air fry .. but my point is that I shouldn't have to do any of that. I should be able to enjoy my food right away , so when I get home from a long day at work , all I have to do is relax with a full belly .. Can we please strive to do better .. thank u

Place a mobile order and then realized I accidentally ordered double of the same item so I went into the restaurant Lobby to have the issue corrected. The staff was cordial and assisted with adjusting my order to what I originally tried to place. Food in my opinion is barely mediocre anymore. This might be a personal preference as our likes and dislikes change the older we get.
Manager messed up my order twice then blamed me. I went to the drive-thru and when my fries were not in the bag I had to go inside to get them. When I told the girl what my problem was the manager was in the background shaking her head. I said why are you shaking your head you messed up my order and she said because I can shake my head.very rude to myself and her employees.

Horrible service cold food went back Two seperate times over the same order and still got the order wrong. Very rude staff and they answer the phone.They not only put the wrong stuff on the food they forgot the Eggs entirely on the sausage egg and cheese biscuits. I suggest the one about two miles down the road at King and Central in Sylvania.

Seems like the cashiers rely on the kiosk machines too much, a lot of people especially older people don’t even know how to work it. But overall, they seem to get the orders right more often now, plus haven’t had to pull forward and wait much in awhile eitherKid-friendliness: They used to have things for kids to do while dining in, since actually they target the kids to get to the adults. Kids were much happier to go to McDonald’s. Some McDonald’s has/had the netted play are and a lot don’t? Seems more like they are targeting the adults now more than kids!

Normally we have good service, but today the service at McDonald's was not too great. The eggs in both big breakfasts were burnt, and rubbery. They didn't give us any silverware or napkins. We parked in #3 mobile order and I had to call them on the phone twice, the dude kinda acted like maybe we should go inside and get our own silverware which I would not do since we did do a mobile order. When you do a mobile order.....they bring it out to you. If I went inside to get the silverware it would defeat the whole point of the mobile order. Our McDonald's has been forgetting a few things each time we go there, they used to be on the ball, but now they've been dropping the ball every time. I hope this McDonald's can raise the bar so we don't have to find a new McDonald's.
