The younger blonde that works here is ridiculously rude. Every time I come here she gives me mean looks like she is disgusted it’s not just me she does it too if you sit in your car watch her serve the ice cream to the customers she hurries and hands the ice cream so fast like she’s disgusted with everyone. She don’t say thank you have a nice day nothing but a rude b word.

What a nice little neighborhood ice cream shop. Lots of choices and there are picnic tables for patrons to use. Sometimes they even have a food truck parked next to it in the driveway. I always go for an Iceberg or a “——-“ (Dairy Queen’s version of a Blizzard. I always forget what Shivers calls it. They take credit cards, but add a surcharge to cover the credit card transaction fee. So, if you can, pay in cash.!

Stopped by today this was my second time here ever. first time was smooth sailing this time not so much ordered 2large shakes one was chocolate and one was a vanilla malt and then I also purchased a vanilla ice cream cone chocolate dipped. There was a young guy and girl working.. There was 1 group that had already been served so at the time of me ordering it was just me a few minutes later another group arrived. Anyways the vanilla malt in fact didn’t have any malt in it. We didn’t realize cuz I bought them to have for desert so I didn’t try them until after dinner. Secondly the girl tried to give me a cone with chocolate ice cream. I was given the milkshakes first and then I waited for my ice cream cone they started serving the people that came after me and I had to tell the guy I still hadn’t gotten it. Took way too long and I even tipped now I regret tipping cuz the service was not great and they messed up the ice cream. Wanted to like this place but today was a hassle for the 3 items I spent almost $15 bucks for subpar quality and service. Based on my first experience and last is why I gave 4 stars but they need to train these kids better they seemed to have no idea what they were doing and were not friendly.

I love this place and enjoy communicating with the employees. I hate that I live in walking distance tho because I can’t seem to stay away from there??. I put on at lest 20lbs every summer from eating there so often. I always get the same thing every time (Large eggnog flavored ice cream ? with caramel and whip cream. The employees are so sweet and the service is great! I hope to one day trying a new flavor but until then EGGNOG it is #TeamShivers ?? ?

Good ice cream. Decent location .But they wouldn't accept my $50 bill. When asked why, they said the manager did not want them to accept because of too many countfeits going around. I should have asked if she had one of those pens to check its authenticity .It's a little too inconvenient for me. Especially since I frequent their business.
