Smith & Williams Bistro offers an outstanding culinary experience with a relaxing and classy atmosphere. The service is amazing and attentive, with managers and staff frequently checking on guests. The restaurant has a bar area that serves creative and amazing drinks, including a raspberry lemon drop.
The food receives high praise. For Sunday Brunch, popular dishes include the Flight of Deviled Eggs with toppings like crab meat, fried shrimp, bacon, and salmon, and the creamy, cheesy Spinach & Pico Cast Iron Skillet Dip served with warm pita toast points. The smothered pork chops are juicy and flavorful, and the Big Breakfast is huge with biscuits that melt in your mouth. The shrimp and grits feature plentiful shrimp with creamy, cheesy grits and a flavorful creole sauce. Other noted items are the well-seasoned fried salmon, fried catfish, and delicious grits, as well as complimentary biscuits. Though not always on the brunch menu, the Creole Pasta with well-balanced spices is also wonderful.
Desserts are a major highlight. The Pineapple Upside Down Cheesecake easily feeds four and is a cheesecake with a slice of cake on top. The homemade red velvet cake is a must, but the biggest hit is the Banana Pudding Cheesecake. The interior is still in transition but the vibe is relaxed. Reservations are recommended.
