Hands-down some of the absolute worst BBQ I've ever wasted money on. $32 for a rack of rib jerky so tough, its barely fit for a dog. Incredibly friendly staff and decent atmosphere, but I cannot for the life of me justify spending more money at this establishment. Maybe 5% of the ribs meat was tender. Fries had a nice crunch but lacked seasoning and the baked beans were a sad congealed pile.

I have been here several times because the food is very good, and the atmosphere is cozy. The service is slow. I feel bad for the bartenders and waitresses because whoever owns it/runs it- has understaffed it every time.

Updating review from last time we visited about 6 months ago. Abby was our bartender/server both times and service was fantastic. The major difference from last time was the food was great this time comparable to 734 one of our favorite restaurants. The texas twinkies, chicken wings, and brisket were perfect

I was there last Saturday, mid day and was humiliated by back of house staff wanting me to talk and the food was tasteless. The waitress was kind and her service was great. Her name was Jenny if I remember correctly. The rest of the experience was absolutely horrible.

Visiting from out of state, and looking for a comfort meal. All-in-all....very disappointed.
The food was cold and dry. The baked potato so cold and dry, we had to go up to the staff to ask for steak knives to cut them with.
The food looked like it had been plated and then sat for a long time on a metal table.
I was asked if I wanted them to redo the meal, but it had already sat for 15 minutes and I was hungry. The server never offered to send a manager, comp the meals (or portion of them), or even a free dessert.
With all of the reviews saying much the same thing about cold food, you think they would get a clue? Obviously not.
Won't go back, definitely won't recommend. Not worth $60.

We've been here twice.. the 1st time, the food was good, but to put it mildly, we were both in the restroom the rest of the night. Thinking it was a fluke, we went again... and low & behold, we both had stomach issues that evening. I'm guessing it was the grease they used because the only common denominator were the appetizers we had.

My husband and I have been here 4 times and have had nothing but amazing experiences. The food is always on point! Absolutely amazing. Recently tried the BBQ pit split and that was a genius meal and huge even though it was an appetizer. I'm a big eater and took food home. I never order appetizers as meals but this has a bit of everything I wanted and a good amount of meat. Highly recommend! There have been a couple of times we came here and the service was a bit on the slow side but the waiters were always apologetic and kind. I have nothing but great things to say about this place. Please do not let the 1 star reviews scare you away. I have no clue what they ordered because the food is great. We used to go to Shorty's for BBQ which is amazing. This place is similar if not just as good and closer to our house. We left the restaurant very content and full at about $46 with tip for 2 meals with no drinks and no actual appetizers. Good price for a date night! No wait on a Friday evening. So happy to have such a great restaurant near us! Please support this restaurant. We need a great BBQ place to stay in this area!

I'm unsure what the negative reviews are about. Perhaps a different restaurant? Because my wife and I have eaten here four times since it opened and we think it's great! The only thing we noticed is that they might be understaffed at times, meaning there may be more time between waiter-checks and it might be challenging for them to track all tables. I won't hold that against a place though. We accidentally got an extra soup today. You won't get a complaint about that from me. Aside from that the atmosphere, service, prices and food have been consistently great!

Ordered entree's and soup and salad. Specifically asked for soup and salad delivered first. Everything came out at same time. Felt rushed to eat soup/salad, so main dish wouldn't get cold. Main dish ended up being cold. Order of ribs were cooked perfectly. However, there was so much grissle. Poorly trimmed maybe. Texture of it was hard to ignore. Mac and cheese was serviceable, but just ok. Rice in gumbo was crunchy. Cole slaw had no flavor at all. Cornbread had a hair in it ( might have been one of ours), at that point it didn't matter, dinner was over and we were out. This was third time we've been there. First time was when first opened. That time wasn't perfect at all, but understandable. Second time was better. This time was definitely not good. I wouldt say its overall bad, but certainly inconsistent.it'll be a while before we try it again. Side note, our waitress Amber was great.

To be fair, I only ordered the salad and dessert. The salad had only two cut in half cherry tomatoes and dressing. THAT WAS IT!! The lettuce had no green at all was all white core and bitter to the taste. I ordered peach cobbler and thought I was getting a slice of pie but it was all crumbled with granola and cornbread on it. I ate nether but didn't complain. I won't return because I was thinking. Whooo can't make a salad.
