The service was excellent and the food was great.

Server was nice but seemed to get distracted easily. Had my sushi at the bar, and waited over 30 minutes to bring it because she was chatting with everyone. Sat and kept talking to us at our table which kept interrupting our lunch. Sometimes you can be overly friendly. Super small pieces of sashimi. Sushi rice was dry. Flies were everywhere. Also, took down my boyfriend’s order incorrectly. We ordered lunch chicken hibachi within the time frame they provided for lunch, after getting our food she later tells us she accidentally put in the dinner portion. We didn’t know, as it was our first time there. She tried to have us pay for the dinner portion, but we ordered the lunch. After trying to convince us to pay for the dinner portion, she finally agreed to do the lunch. Seemed weird. After reading previous reviews, other people seem to comment about getting incorrect orders, overcharging, etc. Seems kind of malicious, so be careful.

Amazing spot. So glad we tried it out for date night. The staff made us feel right at home. Absolutely get the Fuji Apple- Hana Sake and Lovers sushi boat 🚢 yum!

Came in for lunch a month ago with my father and his wife from out if town. Other local Japanese steak houses were closed, so fortunately this fell into our lap. It was a great experience. The food took a while, but it was early lunch hours so one cook can only do so much. The waitress took good care of us. Had great conversations with her. A delightful and curious woman. The wait was well worth it. I will be taking my family back soon!

What a gem of a place!!!

I’ve had most of the sushi spots in the area and I’d argue that this is one of, if not, THE best, most fresh + passionate around that I’ve had in a while! The service is spectacular too! Excited to come back in the future. <3

Our first time here and we will definitely be back! Everything we had was fresh and delicious! I recommend the ocean roll and volcano roll.

It was essentially perfect.. everything tasted amazing, the waitress was super friendly, and the place was really cozy and aesthetically pleasing. My only complaint is that the tables and windowsill we sat next to could have been a little bit cleaner, but other than that, it's perfect

It was outrageously expensive, and the service was terrible; our sushi was ready, but the waitress wouldn't attend to us—she preferred to be on her phone. On top of that, the woman had a horrible odor. They charged us $8 for two tiny salads that we didn't even order. For two adults (each having a single plate of sushi) and two children sharing just one meal between them, the total came to $71. It was highway robbery. I do not recommend this place whatsoever—don't go, or you'll end up having a miserable experience.

Such a great restaurant. They are so friendly and even though it was our first time there, she spoke to us like she already knew us. The food is delicious and the menu is huge so there is definitely something for everyone. I would recommend Sushi Yoshi to everyone!
