The cake was a gift for a colleague that got another internal position for a different department. Everyone in the office absolutely loved the cake and was I am dying to know where I got it. “I've tried a lot of different desserts here. and they were all good. But what stole my heart were the giant glazed croissants.. The owner has her son working with her and their always kind and helpful. Oh they have this cinnamon sugar donuts that are better then the cider mill I had growing up in Michigan. Be prepared to be addicted“

“Wonderful food in a charming little shop! Definitely worth a little bit of a wait for a meal of this quality. Everything is homemade, including the bread. The tomato bisque soup was outstanding. We got sundried tomato/pesto and artichoke/spinach grilled cheese sandwiches so that we could split them and try both. Wow! Impossible to pick a favorite. So delicious! Can't wait to try some of the other soups and sandwiches. Took a large cupcake home to my MIL and she was licking the paper to get every crumb. Delightful!“

“I have been going to the Downtown Bakery since I was a little girl. There is not a bakery around that will ever come close to the Downtown Bakery. Especially the glazed donuts, smiley face cookies and their birthday cakes ?Kid-friendliness: Everyone is so friendly no matter what time I go in, It can be 5am or 1pm. You will never go wrong when you stop past the Downtown Bakery!! We get donuts every Saturday morning between 5am and 8am and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.“
