This was our second time to Black Angus. We were not disappointed. All four of us thought that our dinner meals were good. Two of us had had grilled shrimp, one had steak and one had salmon. All were just right. The salads were good, though I would have preferred some other greens besides just iceberg. However, it had grape tomatoes, cucumbers and cheese which were good. The baked potato was good with a nice hint of salt on the skin but it was a tad dry. (I like to eat the skin)....read full review
Friendly staff and patrons. Great bar burgers and at a great price. Good drink pours. Only knock is the chicken gizzards aren't tender. But would definitely be back for the burgers!

There is not a lot of options in Van Wert. I found this place and it looks very basic and more like a 1980s dinner. I had a salad and the blue cheese dressing was amazing, I ordered the NY strip, it was so good, great char from the grill, great seasoning and cooked perfectly. Best steak I have had in a long time.
