Picked up a couple of pizzas to feed the family. Got a sausage and pepperoni pizza for the carnavores, and a plain cheese pizza for those who didn't want the toppings. Both pizzas were pretty good. Decent quality ingredients, and cheese and crust were good as well. Didn't pick up dessert at the time, but we might go back for some pies. If they taste as good as they looked, then it would be worth it.
We were looking for a local place open on fourth of July. My mom is in an assisted living facility in Vermilion and she thought pizza sound good. We are two hours away so I called ahead to make sure they were open (closed only three days a year-Christmas, Thanksgiving and Easter). I ordered as we got closer, was given excellent directions, and even asked if they had pop to go (they do). Papa Joe's has a drive thru so it was quick and easy to get in and out.
