“This pizza is AMAZING! Listen, I know garbage when I see it.....and this is NOT garbage! This classic, and arguably thin, pizza is baked perfectly! The right amount of pizza sauce combined with the perfect amount of cheese makes my mouth water EVERY time! I must admit that the employees here are absolutely amazing as well! They are always so helpful & so friendly. My ONLY complaint is that the pizza box is square and it makes it difficult to bring it into my trash can! Their ice cream is just as amazing! “I used to manage a dine in restaurant, so I understand how frustrating it can be when the last-minute customers show up. They only add minimal overall sales while lowering your sales/hour and hurt your labor since you have to keep your staff there and paid which cost more than the profit gained usually..... so I am very happy that when my 80yo grandmother wanted 4 quarts of Dairy Queen ice cream because all the others upset her stomach at the last half hour that not only did she get it but the staff was friendly and you would never have known they were just ready to go home after a long shift. “I used to get handles on minimum of 2x week to moving out of the state almost 10 yrs ago and being over an hour away just for one thing. So I finally had a reason to be close (Toledo zoo) and knew I was stopping here. I couldn't be happier to know everything is the same but better! They added some things over years, new flavors, and I seen online just an insane amount of locations across country now! I'm an original location gal! I took my husband here for his first tome and he said he was very much impressed as he got pistachio in a waffle bowl and I branched out and tried key lime pie as they didn't have the grape I wanted. Both were delicious and just as good as I remember. Need to make a real effort to drive down and get this ice cream!“

The ice cream is always super cold, which sounds weird but sometimes we’ve gotten ice cream from other places that is already starting to melt when it gets handed to us. “I’m visiting from Memphis, TN and had to swing by a huge part of my childhood. As a kid, my family would bring our dog to Rudy’s, and we’d all sit in the tail bed of the back of my dad’s truck and eat our ice cream. I ordered my childhood favorite for nostalgia! I haven’t been to Rudy’s in probably 7-8 years, so it was good to be back while visiting home!“

“Solid Toledo classic. As I'm not from toledo, I'm fairly indifferent. Decent coneys with chili, onions, and mustard. My wife, who is from toledo, loves the cherry slush. Has that nice nostalgic hot dog stand feel, which is certainly a plus.“

Large menu with butterburgers, fried seafood items, sandwiches and a variety of sides including cheese curds, pretzel bites, steamed veggies etc.
Frozen custard has its own menu too - as is, in a mixer, float etc. Had a small 2- toppings - too much for me and very sweet.

Pricing got confusing for me but was explained patiently by an employee - burger and fries have a combined price, prime sides have additional charge, drink has a price. Very friendly staff.
After ordering, got a number for our table and food was brought to us.
We liked the food. Wisconsin burger was not salty, not heavy/greasy. Fish sandwich too. Self-serve fountain drinks - they have their brand rootbeer but tasted similar to other brands.

My order has always been correct (keep it up!) I don’t know if it’s because I was in the passenger seat but it seemed like there were some technical difficulties with the drive thru, something that could be improved. I also think the patties could have been less flat, but overall still really good!!“
