“I helped do some of the last minute labor renovations for them to open by Monday. Didn't even know what to expect but the other workers I met upon my arrival were very nice and I was also told by one of my coworkers that the chicken is one of a kind and is one of the best chicken he's eaten. He was given some chicken and other stuff to eat but I'm not quite sure what the other stuff was. He was all over that chicken and wouldn't stop talking about it!! So Good luck to there grand opening!“

“I’ve been searching for the perfect Jamaican beef Patty for a loooooooong time! I’m from Jamaica Queens and the beef patties there cannot be replicated…or so I thought until today! Not as flaky but FRESSSSHHHH! All I need is coco bread and this place will have a loyal customer FOR LIFEE! I heard that they do have coco bread, my hope is that they are baked in-house and bagged up for sale like in NY, but I will settle! Hopefully they’ll have it next time!“

“So... THIS is where I'll be getting my oxtails when I'm too lazy to make them! They were excellent. I got the oxtail dinner, a beef patty, and a side of plantains. The portions were impressive, and everything was seasoned perfectly. The beef patty was basically the same beef patty you'd get everywhere else, but that's okay because they're always good. But, back to the oxtails... soooooo tender and meaty with the perfect amount of gravy! I was happy enough to have a great, well-made meal, but the spinners knocked me off my feet! I've had Jamaican oxtails from here to California, but no one's ever added spinners to my meal! If you don't know, they're yummy, dense, cylindrical dumplings. They made me SO happy! She's putting out quality food with such love and care. These are the types of chefs and restaurants that we need to support.“

“The food was very tasty, but I didn’t love how they chopped up the chicken so the bone shattered, I kept getting little bits of bone in my mouth. Also you have to order fried plantains on the side. Their fried plantains were also not the best I’ve ever had, they were pretty dry and just tasted like oil.“

“The most authentic, and delicious tasting Jamaican food I've had in a looooong time! The Oxtail dinner was super flavorful (with just the right spices) and meaty, the Curry Chicken was "all that," the Shrimp Curry was wonderfully delicious, and the Stew Chicken was amazing. I now visit this place each and every time that I travel back home to Cleveland, and they NEVER disappoint - EVER!“

Exxxcellent Smithers, excellent.I don't know who those guys back in the kitchen are, but they're whipping up some serious voodoo magician carribean sauce stuff back there...a myriad spell of flavors and the perfect amount of heat creeping in that jerk. “Honestly this is one of the best Caribbean take out spots on the east side. Other than the ox tails everything on the menu is excellent. And I understand oxtails are expensive it’s like having lamb on the menu. But they were too salty and overcooked also this doesn’t take away from the food I’m just weird but I’d rather you cut up the oxtails in bigger chunks not a million pieces like hot dogs. But one bad thing on the menu doesn’t take away from my review I still give this place a 8/10And a lot of people complain about the service? Listen this not chipotle orChick-fil-A stop stereotyping these people just because it’s a Jamaican food. Nobody is going to kiss your butt as soon as you walk in the door.Order your food and don’t be difficult. The lady’s at the window are not mean or have attitudesJust enjoy the food.“

“This place was so delicious from everything I ordered it was tasting so good from the moment I walked in I was greeted I like the decoration of the place it was clean and the food came out hot and once again delicious I ordered spicy rasta pasta with chicken jerk chicken oxtails jerk chicken wings with Fry's and it all was so good the price matched the food the atmosphere really gave a Jamaican feel I recommend this place to anyone looking for good food.....!“
