I was in town for a convention and met Ms. Yvette and she recommended this place so of course we had to check it out. I ordered the shrimp po boy with Mac n cheese and hush puppies and it did not disappoint. It was absolutely delicious. Everything about it! The Mac n cheese was perfect and the hush puppies were yum! We stopped here for dinner and are not familiar with the area. My husband and I both were both amazed at how fantastic the food was!

Had the orange roughy dinner it was great. Big portions lots of fries. The hush puppies were delicious. Wish I ordered more. The service was amazing very friendly. Would highly recommend Hooked. I’ll be back.

Hooked Restaurant Warrensville offers fresh, flavorful seafood and comfort food in a take out location with tables. The fried catfish and shrimp platter is excellent, with the shrimp so good a tear was shed after the last piece. The fried okra, jambalaya and Mac & Cheese also were a hit. A catfish sandwich with tomato red onion hot sauce and cole slaw was so good, and the perch dinner and catfish po boy were fantastic crunchy breading and not greasy. Staff were friendly, welcoming, pleasant and with great personalities, making the experience even better. Prices are a little on the high side, but the quality of the food makes it worth it for those looking for great seafood or comfort food. Some guests mentioned extra fees and surcharges on credit cards that were not explained, advising pay attention to receipts. The atmosphere could benefit from more servers, table cloths and complimentary water while waiting. Overall the food is upscale for the location and the experience received an 8.5 out of 10.
