“In response to the negative comments.... Y'all complaining about the flies...however...not one person said they got sick from the food...and don't be acting like you've never put something dirty or questionable in your mouths before....so kindly shut your mouths up... This post is an honest and real review... When we pulled in, we were unsure what to expect...but when that little sweet lady, Lori, greeted us...all my hesitations disappeared. I looked at my friend, and said...this chic is about to blow our minds!!! And I was NOT wrong!!! I compare the experience of Shokeys to an outside family BBQ. Is it summer? Is it hot? Are you surrounded by fields and farm animals? Of course there are flies...she is ONE person...running a business, running a farm, AND taking care of someone she loved very much while he was dying....sorry she didn't think to update her social media....How awful that you were inconvenienced. Hopefully you never have to go through something like that. Whenever we make it there.. we are welcomed like family....the food is so good....and the prices are unbeatable!!!! If you only think food is good if your in an upscale establishment, then go there. Shokeys is perfect as is.”

“I stopped by Rich's Country BBQ recently to try their pulled pork sandwich, and overall I'd say it's pretty good, and I'll definitely be back. The pulled pork itself was pretty good—tender, flavorful, and with just enough smokiness to make it enjoyable. However, the experience was slightly marred by the sauce, which had that unmistakable store-bought taste. It didn’t add much to the already flavorful pork and, honestly, felt like a missed opportunity for something more unique.

The sandwich was large, definitely a generous portion for the price, but at $13, it felt a little steep considering the lack of house-made sauce and more inventive flavors. That said, the size did make it feel worth it in terms of filling you up. I left satisfied in that sense, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that the sandwich could’ve been something special with a little more care put into the sauce. Plus, a few pickle slices or a topping of coleslaw would’ve gone a long way in balancing the richness of the pork and giving the sandwich a bit more texture and tang.

In the end, Rich's Country BBQ offers a solid pulled pork sandwich with decent portions, but the store-bought sauce, lack of extras, and relatively high price point left me wanting a little more from the experience. If you’re craving a big meal and don’t mind a more basic take on barbecue, you’ll probably enjoy it—but if you’re a BBQ purist, you might be a bit disappointed.”

DID ZERO TO HELP ON THE FLOOR. DOES MANAGEMENT NOT SEE ANY OF THIS. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR AWHILE. WHY DOES HE STIIL HAVE A JOB?????????
