Genki Ramen & Teppanyaki

Always a pleasant experience picking up a delivery orders dining in the food is wonderful and so is the workers there i would highly recommend people to go check it out or get it delivered through grubhub either way works

I finally tried Genki Ramen for take out. It was… okay. It is overpriced for what you get (like $5 for two tiny microwaved egg rolls). Not sure if it was because I had it for take out, but the ramen ingredients did not taste fresh at all.

One of my friends who goes here all the time took me here and I'm glad they did. I had the shoyu tonkatsu ramen and it was one of the best things I've ever eaten. Blows the dollar store version out of the water. The egg in it was seriously the best egg I've ever had in my life. The takoyaki was also amazing. Our food came out literally a few minutes after we ordered and our server Tara was really fast and friendly. 10/10 would recommend.

So it turns out Genki is actually a local chain here in Cincinnati! I checked it out today.

Japanese cuisine just feels so much more refined and healthy.

Not recommended the unagi don. Too pricy for what I got. Low quality eel, thin and too much bone. Chicken Katsu don is good.

Stopped here for lunch. Ramen bowl was good but chicken was a little tough. Drinks were refilled promptly. No bill was brought so I had to go up front, even though we were the only ones there. Woman running the register was impossible to hear and I have great hearing. Bathroom and everything was clean. $15 for the Ramen but large portion and felt the price was fair. Would visit again.

I took my son here for his birthday. It was his choice, and if it had been up to me, I probably would not have chosen it. I am so glad I trusted him. Because this was one of the better meals I have had out in some time. We got the shrimp tempura, the dumplings and the spring rolls for starters. They were all amazing! My son got a bowl of pork ramen and a fun melon drink. I got the teriyaki salmon! Wow..just wow!! Wonderful portions at a good price. All that good food cost me less than $60 + a! Super sweet waitress. I will definitely be back!! Wsh I had taken photos but we were so impressed with the food we just dug in.

Their spicy miso ramen is great! As a vegetarian it’s always hard to find a good ramen spot. This place is great. Wish they had a few more vegetable options to add to the ramen but the place is on point for vegetarians!
