The Smokehouse at Shawnee Lodge

Shawnee is a beautiful lodge and area to visit. The best pizza in their restaurant and bar. I am very disappointed that they charge you to watch your children swim if you go out for the day. We paid $13.25 for each child to swim and then I had to pay the same just to watch them. But they make you if under 18 l, so why make us pay?. So I didn’t want to pay for my husband and 18 year old son to just watch them swim so they had to wait upstairs. 13.25 is too expensive anyways....read full review

I needed a part time side job and my daughter was looking to get out of Fast food.So we went there for an interview and got hired upon hiring.We were told we were need an ASAP and that they would rather as not put in two Notices for our other jobs Because they needed us RIGHT NOW. We left our other jobs thinking that they were desperate for our help when we could have put in a 2 week notice.Or even stayed at our jobs. I couldn't believe the good reviews for this place! We live in the area and we're told by a gentleman how good it was. He must have lacked his special senses. This was the most amateur meal we have had. Very sad as you would hope this restaurant could be (in this venue) a top notch one that would give the area a nice option.
