I couldn't believe the good reviews for this place! We live in the area and we're told by a gentleman how good it was. He must have lacked his special senses. This was the most amateur meal we have had. Very sad as you would hope this restaurant could be (in this venue) a top notch one that would give the area a nice option. I needed a part time side job and my daughter was looking to get out of Fast food.So we went there for an interview and got hired upon hiring.We were told we were need an ASAP and that they would rather as not put in two Notices for our other jobs Because they needed us RIGHT NOW. We left our other jobs thinking that they were desperate for our help when we could have put in a 2 week notice.Or even stayed at our jobs. An absolute delight! I visited on my birthday last week and it could hardly have been more perfect. Lots of good menu items but my friend and I chose liver and onions. Truly, truly the best I have ever had anywhere. Service was superb.
This is a great place for going alone, dining with friends/groups or special occasions. Nearby hiking trails abound but you may want to do what I did---just sit, linger, and enjoy the ambiance.
