I have been here during the Day and in the evening. Excellent vibe, staff are great. Cocktails are different and delicious. Food is tasty. Cream Tea is great. Thank you Dani, Mike & Derek.
I paid $12 (+$10 to add salmon) for a Caesar salad to go after our dinner here so that I had something for my lunch the next day. Ordered at 8pm, opened around noon the following day. It was a bowl of browning lettuce - no cheese, no croutons, no dressing… 😭. The salmon was delicious, but I ended up taking it home and buying a Caesar salad kit to have it with. HUGE waste of money and super disappointing upon opening for lunch. I had pasta with shrimp for my actual dinner...
The Chicken Sandwich with sweet chili ginger, cucumber and cabbage slaw, and wasabi aioli was incredible—every bite was spot on. The truffle fries with garlic aioli were just as good. We also tried the spinach and artichoke dip, which had great flavor but was a little watery. My husband ordered the meatloaf and had only good things to say, though I was too full from my meal to try it myself. I’m already looking forward to coming back for the tea service.
