One of your short female employees with big glasses was jabbering on the phone in the restroom as her other coworkers worked. Worse, she was doing this in the MEN'S restroom as I, a man, waited to use it.As a male, if I even accidentally step into a woman's restroom nowadays, I can have the police called on me for doing that. I witnessed one of my friends literally be banned from a restaurant for making a female feel "unsafe" because he stumbled accidentally into the woman's restroom. That's the level of insane distrust and suspicion men face nowadays, so your female employees should show some common courtesy (and less hypocrisy) by using their own designated bathrooms.

Placed an order via Uber Eats delivery. I've never ordered from this restaurant before. The food was beyond excellent. The portions were more than I expected. I will definitely be ordering again.

Best place to get a bacon egg and cheese. What can I say? Oh, you can get peppers, tomatoes and onions baked into the egg. That’s pretty cool.

Used to be our go to spot when they first opened but this is my last visit. Bagel is not good at all and is as hard as a freaking cracker. Also, they piled toppings, including condiments, while toasting the bread so the sandwich is falling apart with every bite. How do you fail fundamentals of sandwich making.

I wish I liked Barry Bagels more, as its location is very convenient. The bagels are okay, but not better than the name brands at the store, so I have a hard time justifying paying the extra just for the bagels. The lox and cream cheese bagel, the mark by which I compare bagel shops, was about as close to a southern New York lox and cream cheese bagel as Charlie's is to an authentic Philly steak - which is to say just reminiscent enough to make you wish you were in Rockland County/Philadelphia, but not good enough to satisfy your cravings. Too much cream cheese relative to lox (largely because of simply too much cream cheese), not a New York bagel. I can't remember the name of it, but the bagel shop in the Short North pre-pandemic did a better approximation. As a tea person, Barry's made me wish I had chosen Tim Horton's. There's one option, Lipton black tea, and it's served at 99ºC, so you have to wait 20 minutes to avoid burning your tongue. Tim's serves their tea too hot as well, but has a decent selection of options. Having a green tea option and one other black tea option, be it an Earl Grey or a fortifying English builder's, would be nice. The interior area is nice. Not a ton of tables, but enough, and good lighting. No loud music like at Tim's, so it's easy enough to concentrate, although one of the TVs was unmuted and on Fox - easy enough to stay out of earshot on a not-very-busy weekday, but would be annoying if there weren't any tables far away. I'll probably go back on occasion and try more of the sandwiches, but it's not going to replace my go-to coffee shops.

Food is great! The cream cheeses are delicious and so flavorful, and the bagels are always fresh. There is often times a line so prepare to wait since they make everything at the line. There is plenty of seating inside and even some outside options. When we went in today, there was no line. 2 of us went in and the worker took one of our orders and proceeded to make that entire sandwich, then asked me for the next order, all while there were 3 employees just staring at us, not doing anything.

Woman who made my bagel did not smile once the entire time she made my order. The other workers stood behind and stared at us without a smile as well. Very passive aggressive and weird environment. Super sad because I’ve gone here for years and love it.

Such a great variety of fresh bagels and spreads! Always so fresh. The eggel sandwiches on everything are the absolute best!

I have been ordering bagels online for pickup recently because they have pumpernickel. These are hard to find. I order 6 and ask them to slice them, then just keep in my fridge, ready to toast in the mornings. I have also gotten flavored cream cheese. It's easy & quick to order, pay, then go park in front and pick up. The staff isn't the friendliest, but then I am in and out and don't have a lot of contact with them. Happy to keep coming. They do have a nice variety of bagels, including cinnamon, and blueberry. Yum.

Owner need to teach employees how to wrap a sandwich and cut it in half. Tried asking several employees and all act like it unheard of. Most deli understand the concept. It help keep product on sandwich in place and not come out on the other side.Thank you

Rude staff. Fully rolled her eyes at me because another staff member asked me what I wanted after I had already ordered. Will not be going back even though the actual bagel was pretty good. Veggie cream cheese was way too salty and I think it was scallion, not veggie. I can get past the cream cheese but not staff being completely rude when I’m the only customer in there.

We have been going here at about 4 times a year since they opened and have to say it has always met expectations. My wife grew up near the original location in Sylvania and is always excited to get some Barry’s. Today’s experience was lackluster to say the least. The 2 people who took our order seemed uninterested in our order and proceeded to remain confused and giggling to each other during the entire process of ordering. Once we received our order, it was not correct but we decided it wasn’t worth the hassle of trying to correct it. This has always been one of our regular spots anytime we are in the Polaris area and I hope this is not the new normal here.

First visit and probably last. Staff was nice but rushed. Nothing about my Eggel sandwich was fresh. Got to watch as they microwaved the egg and bacon in front of me.If you're going to put bagel in your name I expect excellent bagels. The asiago bagel was okay but I get better at Panera, or even Tim Hortons

Decent service, big fans of the cinnamon vanilla bagels with strawberry cream cheese.
