Very noisy. Slow service as we had to search for our server for our check. The food was good. Live music was not good. They added a convenience charge to the check which I don't like. The seating was mostly hitop and some of my party was uncomfortable.
I wanted some wings today and decided to visit Double Barrel. I'm glad I did. It wasn't crowded. It was right before lunch time. I ordered 5 with Carolina Gold and 5 BBQ rub and OMG they were great. Crispy and tasteful. The atmosphere was great and the young lady behind the bar was excellent. She saw me walk in and addressed me right away. She took my order and followed up with me on when they will be done. This was on Tuesday the 17th in mid morning to afternoon. Great...
Ok, we went on a Sunday around 1pm. The place was empty except for 8 - 10 people sitting at the bar. Service was good. The wings were not so much. They tasted frozen to me and at $17 for 10, I was a little disappointed. Wife had the BLT special. Nothing special about it. We probably won't go back for a while.
