The chicken tenders and green beans were fantastic. Their app is a little glitchy, but the $5 off for signing up is a pretty great deal. Plus, you get free sweet tea and ranch when you dine in! You order on a touchscreen and they call your name about 4-5 minutes later and bring it to you. Excellent service and delicious food!

I decided to try HCT as I had not had it in a few years (since the quality nose dived). The sandwiches were new many items to me. So I ordered a few to try: a Southern chicken sandwich and a chicken fried steak sandwich. They were bad and worse.

The chicken sandwich was primarily bread. The bun was much too large and thick and dense. Hiding in the bun was a pathetic scrap of fried chicken thigh. Whether it had any flavor or heat (Nashville hot) remains a mystery...

I am so glad to see hot chicken takeover taking action and making positive changes. They had gotten so overpriced in the last few years, and the food quality had decreased as well.
I am happy to report that my last visit, the prices were more than reasonable, we got a meal, side, and a drink for about ten dollars a person. We LOVE that free sweet tea is BACK. The food was high quality and delicious as well. They also have a ton of new options we can't wait to try.
