I was at the uptown deli tonight 9/26/24 and sat at the bar I was asked to run my card before I ordered I thought this is unusual. So I paid attention to the other patrons at the bar. After a while I noticed the other patrons paid after service. The last time I went to a restaurant that asked for a card before service went out of business. It made me feel like I was a untrusted individual. Be careful at this restaurant not sure what is going on. Food was still very good.

During our bike ride, we stopped here and sat on the back patio and had a few drinks and ate some appetizers. The service and atmosphere was wonderful, I highly recommend.

We found this place on the Crew Network because we were trying to find a place to watch the game and we are so happy we did! We had cheese curds, sandwiches (Tuscan Turkey and Figaboudit), potato salad, coleslaw, an old fashioned (one of the best we've had!), and a Scottish ale. Everything was delicious! The atmosphere for the game was great and our server was so sweet and attentive. We will definitely be back for more Crew games!

My family and I were never waited on after being seated. Left after 15 minutes of no service. Told the hostess when leaving. The response was "oh, ok". Never returning.

Pastrami & rye with potato salad was quite good here. The Scottish ale wasn’t bad either. Both enjoyed in their nice outdoor seating.

I love Uptown Deli & Brew! I always feel welcomed when I come for dine in or takeout. I love the Figaboutit sandwich (add roast beef and banana peppers!) and cocktails! Great crowd during soccer season. Generous portions and wonderful staff, especially the bartenders!

This place makes some really excellent sandwiches. The space inside is a little tight and noisy, but it's still a great vibe. We tried to sit out back on their lovely patio in the summer when we can. There seem to be quite the rotating staff of servers and hosts but for the most part AR quite good. Kitchen is also very fast. We like the bar a lot, but it is sometimes hard to get a seat as it is often full. Definitely one of our go-to joints in uptown Westerville.

Great variety of unique menu items. Food was excellent! Service even better. The waitress was so accommodating and personable. The mixed drinks were good, but pricey for the size.

Parking: Plenty of parking behind the restaurant and a public lot a block away. Super nice and clean area for walking. Cute shops nearby too.

Our waiter Eli had our drinks ready before we even asked. Great personality and made this day drinking in the sun on the patio so fun! Dragged over umbrellas and found the perfect music back drop by request. The food and drinks here always deliver but to have an exceptional server really made today memorable.

Uptown Deli & Brew is a GEM! I’m VERY impressed! The Corned Beef and Pastrami on Rye (State and Main) was delicious! Being from Detroit, I was searching for that same flair and favor when it came to corned beef…. I’ve found it finally!!! A little piece of home in the heart of Westerville… who knew! My husband and I will definitely return many many many times ?

We are passing through on our way back to Michigan from Florida and we are lucky enough to have come across Uptown Deli and Brew, the best food stop we have made! And easily now my favorite restaurant and bar in Ohio. The menu sounds simple when you see it is a sandwich shop, yet the food and drink menu both have gourmet features. The atmosphere and decor was entertaining and the staff was very friendly and helpful. My wife and I highly recommend!

Vegetarian options: I'm going pescatarian during Lent, and there was a nice variety of vegetarian options at Uptown Deli for dinner. I had the Beat It sandwich...beets, goat cheese, onions, and arugula on toasted bread. Absolutely delicious and out of the ordinary! My table also ordered a charcuterie board that had delicious cheeses, jam, and nuts :) One of my friends ordered the Caprese sandwich (no meat), and it also looked delicious!

Nice restaurant in uptown. We went on a Thursday night at 8pm. It was pretty busy but we were able to get a table. The host and servers were very nice. We got a beer, a sangria, Reuben, Tuscan turkey, and prosciutto. The drinks were good. All the sandwiches, apps, and sides tasted as they should, but nothing was great and doesn’t put them apart from any other deli. Their service, location, and atmosphere makes them unique.

Parking: Uptown has free parking on the streets and well as a parking lot. It’s a 5 min walk from the free parking lot.
