Kind of not good. They were out of a lot of foods. The place itself is pretty sterile. Couldn't find how to sub waffles for bread on the ordering kiosk and really, can staff please just take our order? The chicken we got was super greasy and we couldn't tell which was spicy or not and accidentally gave our kid a "Hot" piece. Super overpriced also.
Was in town with my fiancé and was looking for a place to eat after browsing around Crocker Park. We saw first a Mexican restaurant that looked like there was a wait so we kept walking and found Hot Chicken Takeover and WOW! The employees were all so polite and friendly, inside was nice and quiet, plenty of seating and everything was clean. We both ordered the chicken tender meal (2 piece - could have gotten 3). I have had hot chicken from Kentucky originally, this wasn’t what I was expecting, usually the chicken has more of the oil and spice seasoning on it, these were lightly coated. Definitely seemed more dry this way. And to top it off chicken and fries are $16. It’s a bit high for chicken and fries.
