There were no need to make a reservation. The place wasn't that crowded and no one even asked if we were there for a special occasion, although I saw them singing, happy birthday to someone else, it was my husband and I anniversary from reviews, you would think it was more upscale than what it was the food was not tasty at all. But the staff was very friendly.

The food was good and as expected. They have a nice happy hour. Service just a little slow but it was a Friday night.

Love Houlihan's. Mary, our server, was great, food was great, drinks were perfect (thank you, Thomas). So many wonderful people work here, including Jake, the manager, and Courtney, assistant manager. It's always a pleasure to have the Houlihan's experience.

Houlihan's Westlake still one of the best casual dining restaurants around with really delicious food, generous portions, relaxing atmosphere and always great customer service. A really nice variety to menu items, so everyone will find something tasty. While we always request the amazing server Mary, she was not in for that evening and Audrey took great care of us making great recommendations. She was friendly and efficient in the pace of our dining and enjoying apps, salads, entrees and dessert.

Good food and good service. What else can you ask for. You need to attempt to hire additional wait staff.

As always, food was very good. Our server, Kodi, was great. Will definitely be back again.

Our waitress was also taking care of a large group and we received spotty service. Food was slow to arrive. My scallops were overdone and salad topping was not dressed well. We will not be in a hurry to return to this restaurant.

Went there last week and had Kodi as our server. He is very attentive and knows the menu well and was able to explain it to us! I would love to have him as my server again!

We enjoyed our evening at Houlihans, especially the quiet atmosphere giving us a chance to talk to each other. The shrimp scampi was delicious!

The fish was ok the potatoes were luke warm there was a large portion. The green beans were tough and the potatoes were too cheesy.This was just an average dinner that I would recommend as a last choice . The server was ok the wait to pay was longer than expected. They definitely need help!!!

We had a large table next to us in the bar. It had about 15-16 middle aged patrons. They were nice people, but loud! It was no one's fault, but they were loud and irritating. My wife & I could hardly talk to each other in a booth. The food, as usual was good. The waitress had both the table for 16, plus us and at least another table. The poor thing did the best she could given all the people she had to attend to.

We had the corned beef cabbage dinner and it was delicious! Tasted homemade. We had a reservation and were seated immediately, the 5.00 Jameson shot was a treat! Happy St Patrick's Day! Our server told us the chef made extra for them to take home to their families, very heartwarming!

Environment was not great and restaurant was pretty outdated. Service was slow. However, food was very good!

Absolutely horrible . The best thing about this place was the adorable sweet hostesses! The outside appeal was horrible so that should've told us all we needed to know. We experienced a long wait time at a restaurant before hand and this restaurant popped up nearby so we decided to take the reservation on OpenTable for nine at 7:30. Once we arrived, they did not indeed have a table available for us upon arrival so we had to wait a little over a half hour for another party to finish up before we could be seated. The indoor decor is literally horrible. I can't even explain the very outdated and lime, green and orange walls. We were told we were gonna be seated in a private room with a fireplace when we got there it was literally the smallest room with an ancient electric fireplace hanging on the wall... we all started to laugh. The table was so wobbly we had to tear apart our coasters and play some underneath. We finally ordered drinks and my margarita tasted like strawberry syrup so I did not get another one. My old fashion was because they use those huge ice cubes and typical sugar cube like they typically use ! We proceeded to order appetizers we ordered the fried cheese and spicy avocado rolls and they were horrible lol the fried cheese wasn't that bad but the dips to go with them were horrible and the spicy avocados were disgusting because the guacamole inside was hot so if you can imagine, warm, guacamole... So we didn't eat those i'll ordered our meals and long story short everybody's meals for pretty bad. Our kids ordered chicken tenders and they came out and they were ginormous... My friend steak was literally the size of a puck resembled one also because it was overcooked... I'm just gonna say it was an awful experience and we will absolutely never be back and I don't know how it's open....

I had an amazing dining experience at Houlihan's! I ordered the fish and chips, and it was absolutely perfect—crispy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. But what truly made our visit special was our waitress, Luz. She was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Her exceptional service added to an already great meal. I highly recommend Houlihan's and will definitely be back. Five stars all the way!
