This is more of a review for a recent company menu change and the attitude of the manager in duty at the Detroit road Westlake Ohio location on Thursday may 28th 2026 at 12:15 pm. I went in to order two snack-size subs and to my unpleasant surprise, the snack-size has been discontinued. The cashier, who was very sweet, helpful and actually tried to offer substitutions, let me know about kids meals, which is has similar size sub to the snack-size. I agreed, but to my dismay again, they only come with fries and cookies- no drink and no substitutions on the fries. I absolutely hate your fries, for the amount of salt and grease, and would have loved to substituted the fries for a bag of chips. And no drink is crazy, since it’s a meal. You would think a parent would want their child would want a drink versus a chocolate cookie. When the cashier asked the manager about switching out the fries for chips, he coldly responded, no. He’s lucky he has good employees who have customer service skills because he does not. Do better, Penn Station. There are tons of options around here for sub shops that offer a multitude of substitutions, which is why you just lost a loyal customer. $24 for 2 snack-size subs, no sides, I had to buy my drink. Awesome

The New Mgn is Very nice and Friendly. She came over to Are table to see if we needed anything. All the employees were Excellent . The fresh lemon Ade was very Tasty 😋.

The service like no other! I went in at 9:57, they were cleaning because they close at 10. Without hesitation the lovely lady made my cheese steak and let me tell you BEST SANDWICH I've ever had!! Thank you for making my stomach happy!!!

My kids went inside, to order some food for them and they were extremely happy with the service. They kept talking how everyone was so friendly and it was just before closing time. Food was great service was excellent. Will probably go at some point out of my way to go there. It was kinda unique experience in today's world. Those people working that night definitely deserve raise and praise....

I have always had polite and professional service here. I even doubled ordered by mistake once and they took the time to straighten it out. The food is great and the restaurant is immaculate. This is service and management done right. Congratulations on a job well done.

Penn Station never disappoints. The service at this location is always friendly and the food is great. I've tried different subs and Penn Station is my favorite, especially the chicken teriyaki. And the fries are always fresh.

My husband and his friends came here after basketball and it was very close to closing. And he couldn’t believe that Jen and Ethan were so welcoming. They made everything fresh and didn’t make them feel uncomfortable.

Now I enjoying writing reviews and talking about how great people are so when my husband told me to write one for them it was a no brainer.

Thank you Jen and Ethan for being great individuals. You guys are amazing!
