The food was very good and lots of it. I specified gluten free and as the food came out they made a point of repeating gluten free to me which gave me confidence. I like coming here for lunch because it is quiet enough to enjoy a conversation with friends.
For the first time in memory, Rosewood Grill Westlake was a disappointment. I started with the lobster bisque and my wife had a salad. Both were to our liking. We were served warm bread with butter, which was excellent. Our entrees were a real letdown. I had the Berkshire Pork Chop, which was meh. I'm a "pork chop guy" and have had my share of WAY better pork chops at what would be considered "lesser" restaurants. My wife had a penne pasta dish with chicken...
It was cold by the window. It was filtering in and would advise adding storms before winter. The coleslaw could use improvement. I would give it a 3. How hard is it to make a decent coleslaw? Any recipe off the internet would be an improvement. The best part was eating with friends. It is the perfect place for that. Our waitress was terrific.
