“Good ramen and sushi spot in Willoughby! Definitely worth a try if you’re in the Cleveland area - especially on a cold day.
The venue is unassuming, located in a strip mall off the side of a road, but man oh man do they serve up a nice bowl of noodles. I ordered the spicy ramen (only option with chili paste) and it was down right delicious. You can tell the restaurant puts time and care into what they do. The broth was bursting with layers of flavor. The noodles had great texture and held up in the soup. The pork belly had a wonderful crispy smokey flavoring going on. It was a perfect trio of earthy, spicy, and rich! It was a colder day when I stopped in and this bowl warmed me up down to the core!
The guests I was dining with ordered a he sushi roll and LOVED it! They said it was probably the best sushi roll they’ve ever had in their lives. Which is pretty high praise given they’re had more sushi than they’d probably care to admit.
The staff was friendly, attentive, and very helpful in the ordering process. The dining room isn’t big but they do have a handful of booths and bar seating along the sushi counter. The booth seating isn’t the most comfortable and the backs tend to lean if you try to press your back against it. Bathroom was clean and fully stocked with soap and paper towels. Always an indicator of a good operation when a restaurant has a clean bathroom area.
Overall, I’d definitely stop back in to try more food when I’m in the area next. I’d highly recommend stopping in and giving it a try if ramen and sushi are your thing! Just be warned this place fills up fast!“

“Best Chicago deep dish I’ve ever had! My husband and I were very impressed. My own complaint is that I live nearly 3hours away so I won’t be able to have this amazing pizza as often as I’d like. 10/10, definitely recommend!“

“Fantastic lunch with a great friend! couldn't decide between a couple items so the waitress suggested their Toofer - basically a soup and sandwich. I got the Seafood Bisque cup and a half Ruben sandwich. Both tasted great and waitress was spot on (there when we needed her and not there when we didn't need her). I'll definitely go back and try other menu options! RECOMMEND!“

“Had lunch there today. My daughter graduated from Lakeland and I took her, my son, his wife and baby. Everyone enjoyed b the food, hot and delicious, service was spot on, very attentive. Enjoyed the whole experience. Definetly will go back. Thanks to the staff.“

“We ordered takeout for the first time and was not disappointed. The steakhouse gyro was delicious, plenty of steak which was flavorful and tender. I had the chicken philly pita and it was also good, plenty of chicken and the portion was just enough. The fries were cooked just right, crispy on the outside and soft inside..definitely will be ordering again !“

“I was surprised that Ballantine did not have a better star rating. We are passing through. Most well rated Willoughby restaurants were very full. Ballantine is a large place, lots of wood, with some crannies, one being in the back with a mantle and gas lighted fireplace. In live music before it switches to current sports. Special dinner: Clams which were very fresh, clam chowder with fresh vegetables, and a huge hamburger with greens. All good. Staff people were super friendly and helpful. A beautiful lighted outdoors with floor to ceiling glass. Couldn't have been any better. Thank you, Ballantine.“

“Great breakfast. Be sure to get their App, deals will arrive. Their $5 take homes are always welcome on busy days. If you are there for a late lunch or dinner try their super large hamburger or pork chops. As a plus the wife loves going through the store looking for deals.“

“I’ve been going here for many years, never a disappointment! All the staff are very friendly! I love love love their coconut shrimp!!! I like to visit other buffets time to time and when they do offer coconut shrimp it’s never as amazing as Panda’s! Even though they are carry-out only right now they still keep the place clean! I also want to add that not only are they open for carry out but also have an option for delivery! Panda Buffet will always be my go to!!“

“Food was on point. Got a modified Greek salad, all modifications were correct. 10 piece wings, ordered extra crispy. Im annoyingly particular about my wings and they were perfect. A cheesy bread, yum. And alll the extra sauces we ordered, received all of them. Clutch.

But special shout out to the manager on shift, Shannon. I had a question about an ingredient and she took the time to go look at the food bag and kindly addressed my concerns. Places don’t usually go that extra mile and especially not with a kind attitude. So keep up the good work Marcos. Hugely appreciated. Customer for life“

“Barrio is casual Mexican dining and drinking. I enjoy it, because it's both casual and customizable. I never leave with a doggy bag. Hungry, get dip and a few tacos. Not feeling it, let everyone else eat big and only get one taco. In my experience food is always okay. Rotating specials are popular with people I visit with. Staff is always very decent.
In the summer patio is recommended.“

“We are new to Ohio and have tried different restaurants.Our waitress today was amazing.Her name is Jayla.She greeted us today with a smile.It never left her face.The food was also very good.The restaurant and bathroom were very clean.There is an Applebees closer to us but not as clean and lacks in customer service.We will return to Willowby.Keep serving your customers With care and great service.“

“Haven’t been to JT’s Diner for about two years. Thought we’d give it a try as we remembered it being good at their previous location. We were very disappointed in our breakfasts. My crisp bacon was burnt to a crisp with burnt taste upon first bite. Our home fries used to be excellent “sliced” potato’s, but yesterday came as mush and the scrambled eggs were not even cut….just folded like an omelet. Coffee was good and hot, as in the past. For $20.53 I expected better. Don’t think I would return.“
