Very nice place,,,great food!(not that they have a big variety),Monday's is creamed chicken over biscuits,my favorite!! They were out today!! So I got the fish dinner.good!! I'm gonna say their breakfast is better than their dinner!
I really wanted to like everything more than I did, but considering the layout, and the mid-century feeling of nostalgia, I was left with a feeling of inadequacy by meals end.The service was very nice, nothing fancy and nothing that stood out as exceptional. But the server was upbeat and happy and very welcoming and eager to satisfy. Nice place for a late breakfast. (But get there before 11:30!) Outstanding service. I had corn beef hash and eggs, which came sort of "deconstucted" - the corn beef was laid on top of the potatoes/onions with the eggs atop it all. I could eat all the beef and leave some of the potatoes behind, which worked out well for me although others might like their beef and potatoes mixed up so the beef gets a bit crispy. Anyhow, we were strangers passing through and had a fine meal. Recommended.
