“As first-time guests, our minds are blown, by the excellent level of service and food. As fans of Top Chef, we had the joy of watching such high caliber preparation. The kitchen ran as a symphony, with such professionalism, speed and precision. And the flavors!!!!! Chef Sara is exemplar, and personable, even taking the time to chat with us. Our server Jolee is also worth asking for, as her level of kindness and service is beyond words. And another wonderful element, which is often overlooked, is that our water glasses were immediately refilled. We travel the world, and this has been one of our all-time best dining experiences. You will be amazed!“

“The General Manager, Dan, and staff were tremendous helping me organize an engagement celebration for my fiancé and me. They went above and beyond to ensure everything went to plan and made sure to accommodate any request. We will absolutely be back for wine and bites but more importantly, to support a great staff! I highly recommend the Wine Bistro for both a date night or for group events as Dan will make sure to take care of you.“

“We went for our anniversary dinner and had a fantastic time—- sat at the bar around 4:30pm on a Saturday, service was very attentive and the vibes were very laid-back. We split the Dirty Caesar salad and enjoyed the fantastic house bread to start. The salad dressing was incredible. I don’t like green olives but they were large pieces that were easy to eat around and move to my husband’s plate (he loves them!). We also split the hanger steak with the bordelaise sauce. We ordered the steak medium rare and it was just perfect! The fries were perfect for sopping up the fantastic bordelaise sauce. I can without a doubt say this was the best steak I have had outside of Paris. I am eager to try the other butters and sauces offered for the steak, but the bordelaise was so good it is going to be hard not to order it every time! My husband was thrilled to find 1664 on draft, as it was his go-to beer choice on our honeymoon in France years ago. I enjoyed an absolutely spectacular glass of Beaujolais that was very reasonably priced and paired perfectly with the steak. We were already thrilled with the ambiance and the service and the food and drink at this point, but when we mentioned we were celebrating our 9th wedding anniversary they poured us glasses of champagne on the house, which really made us feel special and taken care of. We finished the night with the Peach Melba for dessert, and I was absolutely blown away at the quality of each ingredient in this dessert and how it was plated. I was sad to hear it is leaving to make room for a new fall/winter seasonal dessert, but I am a sucker for seasonal menus so this just got me excited to come back and try next season’s dessert! If it is anything like the Peach Melba we had, I am certain I will love it. This restaurant is a little bit above our normal eating-out budget, but by splitting plates and eating at the bar we were able to enjoy a truly luxurious experience that made our anniversary truly special this year. We will be remembering this dinner for a long time, and we can’t wait to come back!!“

Meatballs

“The veggie dogs and plant dog is cheap food so if you’re at IKEA and hungry these are totally worth getting, but I can’t say I would drive out of my way to order these. They were out of the pickled beets but we got the crispy onions as a topping for an extra 25 cents. The veggie dog in my opinion was tastier than the plant dog—both are vegan. Overall, it was pretty decent and for the price you can order as many as you like. Edit: 2nd time we got the Veggie Meatballs and it was pretty good. As for no gravy. Staff said Mash potatoes are vegan but you can also order fries instead. Updated from previous review on 2024-05-25“
